Hi everyone, Is it possible to raise the load carrying capacity of a TT by using a different tire type or installing more robust axles? Thanks, Cymro.

How do you limit data usage?

If you are using Windows, you can set your device to function as a "metered connection"so that it will not run automatic updates etc while you are connected to the internet via your phone's hotspot, Verizon Jetpack etc. Once set up your device will remember this connection.

Hwy 4 Vancouver Island (Pacific Rim Hwy)

We were concerned about this before going there last year after reading about poor road conditions etc. We have a pickup and TT with a total length of 45 feet. There are some twisty, slow sections but we didn't have any issues. It'e definitely a worthwhile trip.

Can i attach a scooter to the back bumper of my 27' Jayco Jayfeather?

We have a 21 foot Jay Feather. I had a receiver hitch installed so that I could use a good bike rack. We were told that with the weight of the hitch, we could only use a two bike carrier rather than a four bike carrier. I would check the weight capabilities of your trailer carefully. The light...

Is Gallup, NM safe to stay in an RV Park there?

We overnighted at Walmart in Gallup this spring. No issues, many Navaho workers at the store and a high percentage of their clientele  also. We would stay there again. There were several other RV's there also.

    GPS?? Garmin or Rand McNally

We run the Garmin RV 760 LMT and also use a handheld unit for hiking and mountain biking n remote areas. One of the things we like is that we can run topographical maps on the 760 when the need arises. The topo maps are not cheap, but we use them often enough to make the expense worthwhile.

Thank you both for your suggestions. Tom, my wife and I both use laptops and once we are confident that they are both using the  minimum data this is what we do. What we need is to monitor each one individually at the start of our trip. Iechyd da! encee, I will give this a shot. Thank you!

Victoria to Tofino on Vancouver Island, BC.

We are planning to visit Vancouver Island in October. One our plans is to drive from Victoria to Tofino and spend some time there. We have an F150 quad cab and tow a 22 foot travel trailer. My wife heard from a friend today that the road to Tofino is very treacherous for towing! Does anyone...
