    onan 4000 generator

    i have  a 2000 onan 4000 generator model 4ky fa26100j. the generator would not start. I accidentally discovered, if I remove the power lead to the carburetor solenoid and touch it to a 12volt supply it will start, but wont stay running. I then did the same thing and then removed the 12volt...
