If you lay the tiles properly, with the correct amount of mud/adhesive under them, they shouldn't crack, as long as they are on a surface that does not "flex" a lot. What I mean is, just normal shaking of the road should not be a problem. Yes, maybe a  bone jarring ride will cause cracks, but...
