Yes, I got your answer! The patriot system uses an electric actuator which only draws a maximum of 3 amps when using full braking power on setting 9 and a low .5 amps when the system is sitting idle. This is much less than the air cylinder systems that draw up to 12 amps every time to keep on...
I'm sure the company would know where to go to get it installed. I'm sure any auto shop could figure it out too. But this is why I not such a big fan on the permanent installed systems. Got my drop in D-Brake and I was ready to tow right out of the box.

Haha ;D I find it tough to learn another language. I remember I took Spanish for about 7 years... 7 YEARS!!! I couldn't make my way around any Spanish speaking country. I can only say "Hi, how are you?" and "Where is the library or bathroom?" :P
I feel like a braking system is pretty much a preference. I like having mine for extra safety, especially for the break away system and I am able to stop more quickly than I was with out one. I got D-Brake's Professional Tow Brake sometime ago, was able to trade in my old nonfunctional Brake...
I don't use either, mainly because I don't like how invasive the systems are and how you can't switch them from car to car if you need. I like my D-Brake Professional Tow Brake though.
