    KOFA/Quartzsite 2022 Get Together?

Here is a map to the gathering area. The BLM signs on the ground are unreadable anyway. The dirt roads are very noticeable and easy to follow once you're there and you see them. If I could find the group 3 years ago, anyone can.

    If you boondock a lot . . .

Nice diagram and explanation JayArr. I don't think the degrees are like those on a protractor, but maybe I'm just being dense. I have a set of stick on levels on the exterior of the trailer (lost the side to side one however after 2 years) and they are marked with numbers 0 in the middle and...

    If you boondock a lot . . .

Thank you Don. I'll listen to it as soon as I get my speakers hooked back up to computer, but the one visual confirmed what I thought.

    If you boondock a lot . . .

With regard to #68 and 70 above, this has always been confusing to me. When one says "degrees" are they referring to the unit of measure like in a 360 degree circle, or to the numbers on a regular carpenter's level? From experience, I thought it referred to the carpenter's level, because my...

    Quick Thank You

I get that, but 80 psi is also my recommended tire pressure. The tire police on this forum have consistently indicated that maximum tire pressure is what is recommended and anything lower means you are messing with the trailer load weight capacity you think you have. If the trailer weighed...

    Quick Thank You

Why? My Class E Goodyear Endurance TT tires are 80 psi cold. Is this also unusual?

Why 65 if the recommended cold tire pressure is 75 psi?

If you are considering solar, and your RV is your "home", then check to see if the Federal tax CREDIT is still available. When I did my installation back in 2018, the credit was 30%, but the percentage started declining in 2019, but it may still be at 10%. You can apply the credit to all...

    If you boondock a lot . . .

My Norcold absorption fridge has worked extremely well and I like the propane option. Mine was made after all the safety recall stuff. On balance, I determined that the propane use risk was lower than a lot of other stuff associated with this lifestyle. Literally millions of hours of fridge...

Need leveling blocks for dual axel trailer

I've used them 2 high only. At least with the TT, I think 3 would still work as long as you pull forward with the rig and not try to back up on to them. I'd sure try to situate my rig better so that I didn't need 3 if at all possible. Linda

Need leveling blocks for dual axel trailer

Skip all the heavy wood and cutting and get these. I use these on my 10000 lb TT and there is no shattering or bending. Lightweight and durable.

    Sway Bar Recommendations

Not sure what is meant by "very cool" but you're doing good if your AC can keep the indoor temperature 15-20 degrees below that of the outside temp = especially if you're in sun. Your unit is likely the typical 13,500 BTUs, which should cool adequately for most folks. But at 100+ outside, it's...

    Microwave not getting power

That ain't right. By law, manufacturers and dealers are required to provide consumers with both instruction manuals and safety manuals - under various agency regulations. Many appliances -- all of them really if you think about it -- present potential dangers to consumers and the manuals have...

    Microwave not getting power

As an option you may be able to find a good, recommended Mobile RV mechanic that will come to your site. Will cost a little more but you're paying for convenience and you do save gas money. Just stay away from dealers if you can - use privately owned RV repair shops also, many of which are...
