I had to laugh at that because I had just read the post to which you refer and thought "Man, you are as old as me.  No one else knows what spats are". :)

Some of these "household" LP heaters required a large (100lbs) tank and recommend you don't use smaller (5 gal) type tanks.  Check the specs before purchase.  I was thinking about an LP wall heater from Lowe's (in the few hundred dollar range) but they specify don't use a tank smaller than 100 lbs.

For air flow you can also use a mechanical fan.  They sit atop a heat source and the heat makes them turn. 

Dickenson makes LP heaters as well as diesel.  Google LP marine heaters.  You will find what you want.

If you have no compelling reason to maintain MI as your state of residence, consider SD.  One can establish residency there by staying ONE NIGHT at a hotel or RV park.  It appears that SD has some of the lowest insurance available (few people) and that state makes it extremely easy to be a full...

I think if I were in the WalMart parking lot, I'd be using their facilities and not a bucket :) I do not believe I've ever seen a WalMart that closed at night.  Do they exist?

Sailing yachts.  They buy sailing yachts so they can "go green" with wind power (on million dollar boats). :) I want one too but I'd need a crew (sailing is a lot of hard work). 

As a follow up to the above:  If I watch one hour of Netflix, how many GB is that?  (I have a flip phone and am not technologically savvy).

I did almost exactly that except, I didn't buy the trailer.  I decided which trailer I wanted (not specific brand but size, layout, weights, CCC, etc.) then, I bought a truck that could handle that and more.  Unless you are getting run over by it, there is no such thing as "too much truck" :)

Command strips (the stick on), cloths line, etc.  If you can sew, some opaque fabric and Velcro tabs.  You are only blocking eyesight, not holding back the tide :)

What you are really looking for is a 12V refrigerator.  Solar doesn't power equipment, it charges batteries. How often will you use it?  Weekends or?  How much amperage (amp hours) does it draw?  Can you recharge your batteries at home and then plug in when you are ready to go? Is this for a...
