Yeah, those are the ones I'm thinking of using. Expensive, but seems like they would alleviate any future issues regarding burning the wires.

I know when I replaced my sparks and wires the first time, it made an incredible difference in how the engine ran. And I didn't even know it wasn't running well before. So, if you don't know whether it has been done, I'd just do it.

Nah, I don't think it is installed backwards. Judging by the diagrams and the fact the lock pin was on the proper end, I'd say I'm good there. Aside from this pin tab, the whole install looks and works great.

That's possible. What's odd, tho, is that the holes that are on the roller tube are exactly the right distance for the pin tab assembly. It is like they were put there for it, but just too far from the edge. Weird.

Actually, this might have been a dumb question. The inner gasket is behind the inner wheel of the dual, right? So, there'd be no way it could be the inner gasket. I don't see any leakage when I crawl under and look behind. Just looking for some confirmation of my thinking here. :)
