Concur wholeheartedly with Seilerbird re: Leafverde in Buckeye. We stayed there for 6 weeks earlier this year and found the park and the people to be great.
The only knock for you may lie in the fact that its about 20 plus freeway miles away from your stated centres.[Phoenix,Mesa,Apache Jct]

When you refer to "the new awning having a centre brace" are you talking about an awning that you installed after the mishap or was it in place when the event occurred ?

Out of an abundance of caution travel locks in addition to the aluminum cover wrap may be a very good idea BUT has anyone actually experienced or know of anyone who has experienced an awning blowout who was travelling with an aluminum wrapped awning at the time?

Does having aluminum wrapped awnings negate or reduce the necessity of having a travel lock system installed.
Thanks for any input you can provide, I know the subject of travel locks was discussed in "tech talk" in Sept 2012 but no recent posts [subject may be closed].
We have a 1995 class A Holiday Rambler Endeavor LE with a rear roof AC which has started blowing cool rather than cold. We are about to have the local RV dealer have a look at it but it is a small rural dealership whose expertise may be questionable.

I assume that the weather issues would be snow related ones and that as a result of I-5 being a major North / South interstate they would attend to it ASAP ?
If that's the case then merely dropping the anchor for a few hrs or a day or 2 ,at most, should avoid any unpleasantness ?
