    Vent cover replaced

You are correct about the actual lid of the vent.  Not an add-on.  Not sure of the brand of the vent as it is the original on the Jayco class C.  All I needed was the vent lid replaced.  Just suggesting that anyone replacing as I did would probably want an assistant to make the job go a little...

    Vent cover replaced

The roof vent that cranks open.  My old one had a couple of small holes that allowed rain water to drip in between the driver and passenger seats.  The replacement cover was 14 inch, plastic.  The trick was getting the old cover off working with the hinge up on the roof and the crank which...

    Vent cover replaced

Not as easy as the salesperson or the box made it out to be.  First of all, no instructions as indicated on the box.  Had to climb up on the roof to make sure I had the correct replacement cover.  Whew, I did!  Looked simple enough.  Not really. From Illinois to Montana, where to stop?

If you happen to be in the Black Hills area,  take the drive to Custer State Park.  They have free roaming heards of buffalo and you might see other big game.  They have horse back trail rides, cook outs where you take a wagon ride and do a chuck wagon cowboy style cookout.  I'm not sure they...

    updating class c interior

Just curious.  I have read several posts about taking the sleeper sofa out and replacing with recliners.  I have a class c with a slide out living room.  The dining area is two booths and table which also makes a sleeping area.  We have the over the cab area availiable for sleeping as well.  I...

New Fly Rod Owner Needs Advice

I purchased a new fly rod and lures at LL Bean in Maine last fall.  Sales guy was very helpful and I think I have a pretty good set up.  I haven't used it yet and am looking forward to trying it out.  I want to start practicing at home where I own a two acre lake which we have stocked with...
