    A friend did that several years ago, and is very pleased with the increased stopping ability.  If I recall correctly, he had to replace the drums as well as they weren't heavy enough.

    If it is a Suburbun, there is an on-off switch in the outside compartment for the water heater switch.  make sure this is on.

    Regenerating Water Softener

    I attach a regular garden hose to move the water away from my softener.  The campground owner told me to put it in the driveway of the site.

    replace fresh water hose

    Since the hose is only used to fill the freshwater tank, it is not under pressure.  Even electrical tape could be used to seal the hose.  You can get better tape designed for use with potable water.

    If you have greasable hubs, be very careful as you can easily blow out the rear seal when greasing.

    We were checking into a campground in Williams, AZ and the person checking us in asked if we had PA.  I told her we didn't and she told me to go to the campsite and join, and come back and she would adjust my fees.  Saved the cost of membership in less than 3 nights.  Staid for 5 days at 50%...

    If you couple the speed control, exhaust brake and a lower gear on the Aisin tranny, going down grades is a snap.

    To go on short trip without tire extender valves?

    I had that problem when I first bought my truck - rubber valves with plastic extenders.  The tire shop suggested replacing the valve stems with metal valves, as he has seen too many of the extenders.  I bought a new part for my inflator that is straight for the inside tires rather than angled...

    I use a cut up stall mat.  Works fine and barely compresses.

    Automatic levelers

    My Lippert system has kept the 5th wheel level over a three-month period.  I added the fork oil that Lippert recommended and any popping disappeared.

    Who doesn't like long, hot steamy showers ?

    I hope those that like a long steamy shower have a good exhaust fan.  In parts of the country, mold is a major problem, and steamy air gets into any openings.

    2wheel drive or 4x4

    Where I live, 4x2s are harder to sell, and lose their value more.
