Class C passenger front seat-can we replace it with one that turns?

Are turning seats larger/bulkier than stationary? We don't want to go through all the trouble of removing a seat only to find out that a turning one is larger. We are not thinking of electric, just a manual turning system like we had in our old Itasca. Thanks for your input so far. Elly

Class C passenger front seat-can we replace it with one that turns?

We have a 24' Class C Four Winds that has worked really well for us since we retired our 1993 class Itasca Sunrise.  Our Sunrise had front seats that turned and we used those often. We wonder if it is possible to replace the ordinary stationary passenger seat with one that turns. Would anyone...

Anyone using Mint Mobile for their phone hotspot?

I would love to get some advise on how to set up my Samsung Galaxy S5 as a hotspot using Mint Mobile, They allow this but I have not been able to set it up successfully. On the advise of a YouTuber I installed PdaNet+ but that seems to have complicated the matter even more. So...? anyone here...

Those miserable rubber stove grate thingies

If you're like us, you regularly lose those little rubber grommets that stop your stove top from rattling. They either split and fall into the hole or they just disappear into the hole. New ones cost over $1 each! I am hoping that one of the creative thinkers on this forum has found a way to...

    Metric conversion for Europe?

We have just spent 3 weeks using a friend's small motorhome in Europe. Several things to ponder: currency ism 110V. Everywhere you camp you'll have power but you sometimes need very long cords (50m). Camper (as motorhomes are called there) have removable propane tanks which you trade in for a...

    Across Canada and back........

Living in Alberta, we have driven across Canada several times. It is n different than driving Interstates in the USA. For your cost calculation there are several factors to consider: You mention that you are in S ON. Your shortest and fastest route would take you right through Michigan, MSP, ...

May vs June to visit Deadwood, SD and Glacier National Park

The Going-to-the-Sun Road through Glacier National Park receives a huge amount of snow. For this reason most of the road is closed through the winter. Last year the road opened June 16, which is pretty early. A few years ago we went there and were the first vehicle on the road and I think it was...

In the second half of February we will have about a week to drive from Pensacola FL to San Antonio TX. We will have visitors from Holland with us and will be driving a 28ft Class C from CruiseAmerica. We'd love scenery, plantations, black history, Acadian history. Can you give us route...

    Come visit Romania!

About the cost of renting an RV in Europe: we have rented five times. Twice through an outfit we would not recommend. Three times through Ideamerge.com. Excellent service and I can recommend them. Do remember that roads in Europe are MUCH narrower.  than here in North America. Driving through...

Banking for Canadians while in USA

Hello Bob, Sorry about replaying later. We had unexpected visitors. You asked about our service charges.  The service charge for our US-based USD account is $3.95/month. That is the same whether we are in Canada and therefore have few transactions or for the winter in the US, when we have many...

Banking for Canadians while in USA

We too are Canadian snowbirds and spend 6 months per year in the US. In Canada we have at the RBC a Canada-based account in USD funds. Through our Canadian RBC branch we opened a bank account in the USA. We also received  a Visa card which functions as a debit card but I can also use it e.g...

replacing the vinyl wallpaper in my Winnebago Brave.

When we repainted those wall panels we used Kilz as primer. It provides terrific adhesion and we have had no problem at all with the paint. Elly

Mid-May '17 to NM, AZ or CO

If you plan on visiting the Grand Canyon North Rim, do check the opening date.  This year it did not open until May 15, but that changes each year depending on the snowfall. Personally we prefer the much more laid back North Rim over the very busy South Rim where you have to use shuttle buses to...
