I've had one on the heat shield for 2 years now. We mainly use the oven for baking bread. It has helped with keeping the temp constant and not so hot spotty..

    Poop wagon

Do not get the older style Thetford with the swivel wheels under the front. The front wheel material wears out especially if using on rough chipseal type roads. I have replaced them 2 times in 4 years. The do not exceed 5 mph must be adhered to...

Street legal Scooter as a toad

I also used a Yamaha Majesty as a Toad for 4 years. They are great scooters. They have undersea storage that will fit 2 full size helmets. Plus I put a tail trunk on for extra storage. I even rigged up to pull my tote to the dump station.  I pulled a 6x12 enclosed trailer..

Anyone using a Chevy Sonic as Toad?

I will also be doing the baseplate install myself. I'm a fair mechanic and it looks pretty straight forward.

Anyone using a Chevy Sonic as Toad?

Thanks Tom, I did see that the 12 v socket was dead with the fuse pulled. I plan on the bypass switch and the auxiliary plug. Did you just wire the plug into the fuse box or go to the battery with it? Seems like a decent little car so glad to hear no problems.. Jim

Was just wondering if anyone else is towing the Sonic and have any tips or complaints. For the last 4 years we have towed an enclosed trailer. Will...

Sorry been working on a house project all day and didn't see this. We are 20 miles North on Hwy2 that starts at the Holiday station right by the Campground. A nice loop would have been to stay on 3 straight out Beaver Bay till it turned into Forest Hwy11 then back to.2 to Two Harbors. Or up to...

    Towing waste water tote

I already figured a fix It is a very poor design . Limited space for other than 5" wheels. It is a caster type swivel setup with dual wheels in the center front. The handle is stationary so the swivel underneath is how it turns. It's 35 gallons so the weight is an issue on smaller diameter...
