i just went thru the whole tire choice dilema, i went with maxxis after lots of research and 3 premature failures on carlisle tires, 2000 miles in the south summer heat with no problems on the maxxis 8008....

We also have been through the ST tire dilemma, Fiver came sitting on carlisle 225/75/15 load range D, 1st long distance trip had 3 fail with less than 1,000 miles on them, pressures all good prior to their early departure from service, not speeding, anyway, replaced them with the Maxxis 8008...

We clean everything with simple green, does a killer job on black streaks, smells nice and is biodegradable and safe, clorox cleanup on the mildew spots...
