I have the option of grass or paved driveway. I would rather the grass to free up the driveway but the DW swears we get mice from the grass area. She could be right, parked on pavement all winter, no mice this spring!

I went through Mass, the passes are free with an initial minimum of $20.00. In Ct we have "combination" plates which are required for 3/4 ton and/or commercial type vehicles. It's a $50.00 minimum. I spent 38 years as a firefighter, trust me, you won't care about the drop to escape a fire. It's also not a bad idea to be sure you know how to operate the escape window, try doing it with the lights off, you may be surprised at the difficulty you encounter. Stay safe all!

He went on line and was told he was within weight specs. After all, U-Haul towing a pick-up, no problem. Pick-up towing a fiver, no problem. Only thing that surprises me is why his boat isn't attached to the fiver, seems like it probably would be ok!  ;)

Well, I think you should be proud of yourself! We had a very bad sales experience at CW so don't feel bad. You sound resourceful so maybe look for a RV mechanic that works after hours? And of course don't be afraid to ask questions here, lots of knowledgeable people willing to help. Good luck...
