    Owen 4000

I can here a short, cracking noise comming fron the generator. This sound happens whether the battery are hooked up or not. The main power is not on. I ran the generator under load, and the sound is still there. It is a very faint sound. Could the windings be shorting out?

Trailer brake controller in used motorhome

On my 2010 ford E450 the brake plug for the bike controller was behind the center dash. Had to relay dig for it. Way up on top behind the three switches.

On my 2010 access with a front entertainment  center, does the TV swing out or do you have to take trim off to get behind It?  Looking to get at the cable controls.

    2016 Cambria - can't find brake controller

On my 2010 access it was in the dash, center, under the three switches. Up on top, pulled the switches out, found the brake controller plug.  It had plenty of wire to run down under dash. If you can't find it email Winnebago.

Adding Electrical Connection to Enclosed Cargo Trailer

I added a small plug with a male end on. Then just wired a outlet to it on the inside. I bought it at the place where I got the trailer. It has a cap over the outside end.

    Brake controller

On my 31 journey E450 , the controler wire was inthe middle of the dash. Up by the three switches, underneath. If you have any questions contact Winnebago directly,  like I did and they are good about answering questions. It was a pain to get at but I pulled the switches and radio loose and fed...

    Wheels

I would not match aluminum and steel wheels. Just get a unpolished rim for the inside. The two different metals mounted together do not work well, besides the look, the other reason is for weight issues.

    Brake Controler

We stopped at a Winnebago dealer and they said it may or may not be there. I e-mailed Winnebago direct and they responded right away with a full wiring diagram. I found it in the dash,  center, upper under the battery switch. I suspect if you have the Ford factory brake switch it is installed there.

    Rodent protection

I have used Fresh Cab and dryer sheets for 10-15 years and never had any problems. We have a few farm cats around but they seem to leave a few spares running around.

    Brake Controler

I am installing a brake controller (Prodigy P2) and plug in cable. The problem I'm having is finding the right socket to plug in. Camper is a 2010 Winnebago Access 31C. It has a 7 pin on the rear, so I would think it is set up for a brake system. It is suppose to be right of the steering column...

    Black streaks

I have a cargo trailer with a aluminum roof and curved side cap. It is getting black streaks on the curved side rail. The roof is clean but I think they started at the seal on the curved part. Car wash soap, Simple Green, and other wash products don't cut it. Tried a green scrub pad also...
