Most of those floor mounted a/c units need 220V @ 50Amps for BOTH compressors to function.  In our Vectra, there is a "wall switch" that must be in the 50Amp position rather than the 30Amp position for both stages to work...even if you are plugged into a 50Amp park outlet.

I installed the entire Banks System and the Transcommand unit on our 1996 Vectra, and could not have been more pleased by the results.?? ?:)?I highly recommend going the full treatment to include the HEADERS, as that is the only way to avoid blowing manifold gaskets, warping the factory cast...

We are seriously considering the purchase of the Diplomat 38A....It has already had the ISB 275 replaced for the block problem 8K miles ago (it now has 38K).? ?It is loaded with the auto seeking sat antenna, washer-dryer, the 4 door refrigerator etc.? Garaged when not in use.? Allison MD 3060 6...

Hi, Smokey!....We are considering a 1999 Discovery 34 M34-Q with the 275 Cummins.. Has only 10K miles for $62,900.  Seems like a good deal :-\ Any comments would be most welcome!

Been reading comments like "make sure it's an "ISC, NOT an ISB" Cummins..but have not seen any data on the reasons for that statement. I know the ISB is the smaller engine.? ?I have also seen a couple of ads where it's stated that a new Cummins was installled 8 to 10K miles ago! (in motorhomes...

We are considering going to diesel power, and have come across a couple of 1998/1999 Newmar Mountain Aire 3758 FL's that are powered by a 5.9L Cummins UPFRONT...has anyone had any experience with these or similar units?? I don't think this type of chassis/engine is being marketed any more...

We, Bev and I, are approaching retirement age and are considering "up grading" to a DP.? We are not going to purchase new and have set a budget of 65-70K.? We have located a 1999 Safari Zanzibar 38' w/slide, CAT diesel and the Allison 6 speed tranny.? Anyone have any comments about that "Brand"...
