    Bills

+1. If it's a fixed amount I have my bank send auto pay, else I get email and connect to my bill pay bank account and send electronic payment. I NEVER let payee withdraw money from my account. They can empty your account. This type of payment is not amount limited. The bank sees it as an open...

    Pull Over

I've been pulled over once in about 40 years while driving in my RV (don't ask about my cars). My registration tag on the plate was out of date. I had it in the glove box, but forgot to put it on. A quick peel and stick and he sent me on my way, even though he could have ticketed me for not...

    White Gas Cost

    That's $7.50 for a quart, so it's $30 a gallon. Not cheap.

Oil blowback through air filter - worst case scenario?

The oil filter should be changed along with the pcv valve. When you had your oil changes, they could have used a really cheap oil filter. Sometimes the internals of a cheap filter will collapse, restricting oil flow.

New diesel owner - looking or help from the experts

I have a fuel filter and oil filter stored under the rear seat. http://www.dieselfiltersonline.com/ has great prices on filters.

Polybutylene Plumbing Lesson Learned - listen to the professionals

After buying several Blue Hawk products, I will never buy that brand again. The boxes of screws I bought all snapped when driving. They appear to be cheap junk to increase the profit from name brands. They certainly don't sell for less money.

    Windows 10 Reservation made.......

+1 As a lifelong software developer/designer, I totally agree. You have up to 1 year to install the free upgrade. I'll probably go for it about month 11, if there are not major problems. Plus, there are instructions on how to do a "clean" install with the download.

    Inflating Tires

Since I have a truck camper, I don't really have storage space for even a pancake compressor. My son got me a Viair 00088 88P Portable Air Compressor http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005ASY23I/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2K8BKT39Q8VFY&coliid=I2VZF6X8PLZRRI. This thing is fantastic...

2 Photos: your thoughts on this tire wear.

Either the axle is bent or it's been severely overloaded for it to lose its natural bend. The unloaded axle should have a hump in the middle that is flattened in a normally weighted condition.

    Mount Shasta, California

When the wife and I first went through there in the 70's, all the hippies were hanging out. They were espousing the credo of not being part of the 'Establishment'. Now I notice that all of the businesses appear to be owned by the aging hippies. They are now 'the Establishment'. Funny how views...

How to receive digital over-the-air TV?

I use "TV Antenna Helper FREE" for Android. It has station database access, available station list, available station compass, and available station map.

    Flippin' RVs on GAC

Most likely EVERYTHING is fake. Like the home buying shows, there are no real buyers, sellers, or whatever. It's all show.

    Garmin RV 760LMT

I already talked to customer service. They told me that what I got is what I should expect. Any more required, buy the extension. The only way it would work with my truck camper is when I held it way to the side with almost a clear line-of-sight to the receiver. It would not work when I routed...
