    Side Patio??

That Class A is awesome! I have a rear patio and love it!  The patio floor is the ramp door, which is very solid. It has lockable screen and "glass" doors so it can be used year round.

    Axle Upgrade

I am also considering an axle upgrade for my fifth wheel.  I have a Load Trail gooseneck tilt trailer with two 8000# axles and love it.  They have the oil bath hubs and 17.5" load range G tires.  They are 10 lug with white steel wheels.

Is There Any Grand Design 5th Wheel Owners Out There?

I second that.  Love that forum!  Once you get your trailer, pay a small membership fee (page is not ad supported) and enjoy!

Re: Is There Any Grand Design 5th Wheel Owners Out There?

I just got a Grand Design 350M and pull it with a Dodge Ram 4500.  It has plenty of room in the garage for two large bikes.  Heck, if I position em just right, I can get two golf carts in it.  The HappiJack bed system raises all the way to the ceiling so you have full use of the width of the...

Recommendations on trucks for towing 5th wheeler

I have a 2018 Dodge Ram 4500 flatbed to pull my 2018 Grand Design 350M toy hauler fifth wheel and LOVE it!  The engine brake on the Cummins diesel makes a world of difference!

    Pedal Steel pickers

I love a cryin steel too. I know several excellent local players.  Country music aint the same without the steel!

    Short Class A diesels

I totally agree.  And some of us just prefer the performance of a diesel.

    Need help choosing TV

Or look for a late model used truck and save several thousand dollars.  I am a Dodge Ram Cummins guy but all of "the big three" make great trucks in the last 8 years or so.  I would definitely go 3500 (hell I just bought a 4500) because I would rather have too much truck than not enough.

    2010 F-250 6.4L

I love my Dodge Rams with Cummins diesels and have three of them.  Cant beat the durability and simplicity of the inline six compared to a V8. Exactly why tractor trailer rigs and industrial equipment run the inline six engines. The 6.0 and 6.4 International engines were a disaster in the Ford...

Loud generators, I don't understand why...

Sometimes the "tone" of the little crotch rocket is louder and heard further than the deep rumble of the Harley.  I am not a biker, but I do love the sound of a Harley and am not so fond of the swarm of bumblebees sound of a crotch rocket.

    Looking for TOAD opinions

My mother has a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta TDI and loves it.  They are well made little cars.  I have known several folks to get nearly 300,000 miles out of them.  With any vehicle, it depends heavily on how well it was serviced and treated.

    Can I tow this trailer?

It can PULL that much, but that can be tested with a wagon type trailer, just to show that it will actually pull it.  A wagon type trailer has no tongue weight.  Getting a trailer rolling is not the important part.  Handling it in cross winds, up and down hills, around curves and in emergency...

    Nissan Cargo Van

The Nissan NV has or is soon supposed to have the 5.0L Cummins diesel.  I hear it is a pulling beast for its size.  I have a friend with a 2500 Chevrolet cargo van with the Duramax diesel and he loves it.  He pulls an enclosed cargo trailer with it and hauls lots of tools and equipment in it.

Toy Haulers - What To Carry & What To Do With Garage When Camped

Look at the Grand Design Momentum.  My next unit will be the 351M.  It has a half bath in the garage area, has the pair of benches and bed that lower from the ceiling, has the patio deck and doors, plus its own entry door, air conditioning, television and stereo.  We sometimes like to take...

    Electrical switches for water heater

My KZ Spree is that way too, but the water pump, water heater electric and water heater propane switches are in the bathroom on the tank monitor panel.  I love that design and location.
