    WINTERIZING WITH POWER

OK, y'all convinced me.  The only reason I even entertained the idea is twofold:  1.)  My hot water heater is high on the side of my coach and I couldn't reach it without using a ladder.  I had taken my ladder back to my sticks and bricks home and didn't want to drive back out to the house and...

    WINTERIZING WITH POWER

Cost of the electricity would be negligible, but you have a valid point about loosing power to it.  Thanks for your input.

    WINTERIZING WITH POWER

If you drain all of your water lines, but do NOT drain your water heater, will leaving the electric water heater on prevent any damage to the water heater?  As I understand it even though you drain all other lines and tanks, unless you specifically open the plug and drain the water heater there...

    Good Sam Roadside Assistance

We have had it for years as well.  I have only had to use once for a MH to have someone out and fix a flat for us.  We have used it several times for our car and have had no problems with them.  They do seem a little slow getting someone out, but when you are broken down on the road, I think...

Yellowstone 2016 or Bust! Forum Rally May 15 through May 21, 2016

Normally it would have been a 2 day for us, but we stayed an extra day at Yellowstone and have reservations in Santa Fe.  Had to make up some lost time.

Yellowstone 2016 or Bust! Forum Rally May 15 through May 21, 2016

Tired. Left West Yellowstone, MT this morning at 30 degrees with snow flurries. 504.6 miles later we arrived at Green River, UT with 78 degrees and sunny.

Tonight at 6 works for us and really looking forward to tomorrows HH/Goodbye.  Made some great new friends this week and got to know some other friends even better.  Thanks to Kim & Christi for putting this together.  For a newly retired guy, he sure does work hard.  :)

    PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE SNAPSHOT

That is what I suspected, but wanted someone's opinion that understood it better than me.  Thanks.

    PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE SNAPSHOT

Does anyone know if you have the Progressive Snapshot module installed in your tow vehicle whether it counts the miles driven and time of day that you are towing?  I have a Chevy Equinox that requires the key to be turned to acc while towing and not to the on position.  My agent assured me that...

    Thoughts on Thor

3 years ago we bought a new Thor ACE and had very few problems with it.  No more than with any house that you shake, rattle, and roll every few days.  We have enjoyed good customer service from Thor.  After 2 years, we did decide to move to a diesel pusher and based on previous experience we...
