Small Grand Design 5th Wheel with Ram 1500 V8 Hemi w/air bags?

Hi, just to play pile on, I'll make a comment about the Ram 1500. Although the stats say a tad under 1600 for payload, I'll give you my truck's payload. I have a regular cab 2x4 Tradesman (means that is doesn't have a bunch of options). My payload is listed as 1595-it's probably one of the...

Las Vegas I-15 Construction at US 95/93 Intersection

Another thing to note about the US95/I-15 is that last weekend US95 was totally closed in both directions through the interchange. I think they are planning to do that again this weekend (Fri 10pm-Mon 5am) and possibly more weekends if they don't complete the work they are doing on the new...

How to get a better shot

Tom, your camera will take interchangeable lenses, right? Can you pick up the 45-200 that Panasonic makes? https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1304870-REG/panasonic_h_fsa45200_lumix_g_vario_45_200mm.html That 200mm in your camera would be equivalent to a 400mm 35mm lens. And it has internal...

    RV Novice Questions

Hi, welcome to the forum! I used to own a 2005 Toyota Tundra, very similar to your 2006. When I bought it, I was interested in the larger cab than the Tacoma and had no plans to tow anything. And the truck was a great truck! Mine was a double cab, 4x4 with the tow package. I had 160,000 on it...

What air pressure in my TV tires?

Hi guys! Sorry I haven't been back on here for a while, dealing with life stuff. Anyway, I won't be able to get the truck or trailer weighed for a few weeks. Right now, I have had the truck weighed, but since changing the tires and adding a couple of other accessories, I need to re-weigh it...

What air pressure in my TV tires?

Hi guys! I recently changed out the "P" tires on my Ram 1500 to "LT" tires with an "e" load rate. The tires have a max pressure of 80psi While just driving with no trailer, I'm using 40psi in the tires, but I'm curious what you guys think I should put in them while towing. Would 65psi be too...

    Complete Newbie

Just for the sake of fairness about getting a 16 foot trailer, take a look at this website: http://www.interstellarorchard.com A woman named Becky has been full-timing in a Casita trailer for five years and she's downsizing to a teardrop in 2018. Not something I'd want to do, but it shows...

traveling to Gold Beach, Ore from Sacramento

Hi guys! My wife and I will be joining another couple in Sacramento and will be traveling to Gold Beach, Ore., for a couple of days of salmon fishing. I was looking at a map book and there doesn't seem to be any direct route to Gold Beach from Sacramento. One way is to go west from Redding to...

    question about dust at Quartzsite

Living in Las Vegas, I'm used to the dry air, but I always advise people coming from a more humid area to use a saline nasal spray. Many people experience bloody noses when in the dry air after coming from more humid areas. And drink lots of water!

    question about dust at Quartzsite

Okay, thanks for the responses. Living in Las Vegas, we are well aware of the dust that the wind kicks up. And I do know about driving slow on dirt roads around campers, I'm always telling my wife to slow down (she doesn't react well to that!!) when she's driving on dirt.

    question about dust at Quartzsite

Hi guys! A friend of mine is planning on staying in Q for about 4-6 weeks and I am going to bring my TT down for a week to attend some of the activities with him. So I was reading up on Q a bit and one person mentioned that you need to put ac filters over all your vents and cover everything...

    Cataract surgery

Just a thought for the OP and anyone else coming from wearing glasses for a long time. I had my cataract surgeries after wearing glasses for over 50 years. One thing to remember, is when you are doing anything that can possibly cause something to fly up into your eyes to wear safety glasses. I...

what types of knives are legal where

What's wrong with carrying both? The problem with saying that you shouldn't carry any deadly weapon, just mace or a taser, is that you are limiting yourself to one option. As with any tool, it's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

    looking for a new radio

Thanks guys, I'm going to have to pull the unit to find out what will fit in the same hole as it's located in front of the sink. I don't think a unit with a cd player will fit due to this. Once I pull the unit out, I can find out how deep the hole is.
