Outer/front tire stem on a dually?

Thank you, everyone! I will go look again for something 180 degrees, and facing inward.

Outer/front tire stem on a dually?

I've looked at pictures and I've looked at my tires, and I'm stumped. On my front ones each stem is clearly visible through one of 4 holes in the wheel cover. On the dually sets, the only visible valve stem is the wire-mounted one for the inside tire. I CANNOT see/find the tire stem for the...

How much does it cost to Fulltime? 2 great articles.

A truly excellent answer: One paragraph and you have it all. I will add one thing from my experience, and that is that reliable internet access is an expensive headache when compared to what it's like obtaining it in a S&B. I found a way around the highway robbery that is Verizon service...

    Google Chrome malware...?

Yeah, I was going to say to the OP that that doesn't sound like malware or anything specific to Chrome. Just sounds like a pop-up that can be safely ignored. But how it "opened itself" is beyond me - I'm guessing maybe the browser was open but minimized and he didn't know it? I know my cat has...

    Appliances

Never use either my oven or stove-top, because electricity is free for me. I have a toaster oven on my counter, and use a KitchenPro induction cooktop on the few occasions I actually would have used my stove-top. And the mini rice-cooker - use that almost every day. And a panini press I bought...

How much does it cost to Fulltime? 2 great articles.

I would like to add that I'm not knocking the original poster who linked these articles - any information you can get is helpful. And the couple behind WheelingIt is one of the best resources you can have. But do notice that the first two paragraph headings in her article are entitled, "Start...

How much does it cost to Fulltime? 2 great articles.

I understand your point, because we were all newbies once. And I was one myself, not so very long ago. I, too, sought the same answers to the question "what does it cost?" My point was that, in reality, it really DOES cost WHATEVER YOU WANT TO/CAN AFFORD. Which should be good news! I mean, if...

How much does it cost to Fulltime? 2 great articles.

$1500?! I'm on a fixed income ($1100) and would consider that riches. I believe all that really proves is that living in an RV fulltime is no different than living anywhere else fulltime: you make it work with whatever is available to you. Maybe that should be our answer the next time a noob...

    Lots Of Clutter

I'll add one more philosophical bit here: Every time in my life I ever had to move from one place to another, and pack up mountains and mountains of STUFF (especially bookcases full of heavy books, in the pre-digital age), I constantly relearned this lesson: You do not own your stuff; your stuff...

    Lots Of Clutter

This probably won't help you, but I'll mention it anyway: One of the best ways to get rid of clutter is to walk away from it. I was very lucky in that I had 5 months, while still parked in my driveway and living in my RV (impending separation from my DH) in which to pick and choose what would...

Condensation and moisture accumulating under the mattress

IMO and IME, a dehumidifier (a real one, with a compressor) is a mandatory appliance when in OR, assuming you are near/on the coast. It will take up space, but once you have it you'll wonder how you ever did without it.

How do you get your music?

I love the "s/he who dies with the most tracks wins" crowd.  ;D I'm at about 10,000 now, more if you count Christmas songs (which I don't, since my standards are much lower for those). I'm the only one I know who does just playlists for this specific reason: My ears get tired fast. I don't want...

    Dehumidifier do you use one?

I bought one when I was spending a lot of time on the OR coast (a real one - with a compressor). Was an absolute necessity. After that I used it everywhere I went except the desert. I recently parted with it when the place in which I've decided to nest turned out to be drier than expected. It's...

    TV woes (dead HDMI)

LOL!  ;D Goes to show you that I've never bought (myself) a 24" TV. Which to me is huge. All I know are the prices I see in Costco as I rush past the gigantic TVs, but now that I think about it, those really are gigantic. I guess 24" isn't so big anymore, nor very expensive. So it really is...
