    Which Make?

These are big questions and I sympathize with you! We became 1st time Motor Coach owners in August of 2017. We settled pretty quickly on the Class A over the other options. Wanted a diesel engine for sure. Then my wife researched the interior she wanted (I had a few requirements, which were...

Fuel tanks reject fuel, can't fill

FIXED! I'm mobile again! Wade's RV SuperCenter was the only Thor approved dealer in Tulsa area that would even look at it for me on a "work in" basis. They said the hoses that run from the filler cap to the tank on both sides of the coach had to be re-routed so that they did not have a huge dip...

Fuel tanks reject fuel, can't fill

Here's what I've been told so far. Freightliner dealer here says it is a Thor issue. So I call Camping World and they say it is a chassis issue, take it back to Freightliner. So I call Thor helpline and Thor says that it is their issue and covered by warranty. The problem seems to be that Thor...

Fuel tanks reject fuel, can't fill

I stopped at two different auto diesel pumps and even a high volume truck pump. Same result. A call to Freightliner suggested a vent blockage or twisted hose leading to tank. But since it's the same on both sides of the coach I'm leaning towards the vent blockage. I'll let you know what they...

Fuel tanks reject fuel, can't fill

Weird! On the way back to home base today I could not fill my diesel tank with fuel. It is half empty, based on miles driven since last fill up and my computer and gas gauge. Yet you can not force feed it any fuel on either side of the coach. Opened both caps and still no go. Acts like it is...

    Thor Product

Just concluded our maiden voyage in our new Thor Aria 3901. Loved the engine and chassis. Took on the Rockies with no problems. Highly recommend Freightliner and Cummins combo. However, water heater trips circuit breaker in electric mode and doesn't fire up on propane. Washer did not have water...

Is 360hp/800 torque enough for a 40' DP?

Thanks for that encouragement. I love the coach, just wanting some experienced motor coach drivers to tell me I won't regret the lack of power/torque.

Is 360hp/800 torque enough for a 40' DP?

Guess that's why it's referred to as an entry level DP. thanks,

Wondering about sufficient power of 40' DP with cummins 360 ISB with 800 torque

That would be about right on this coach then, about 35,000 GVW. Says it can tow an additional 10K.

Wondering about sufficient power of 40' DP with cummins 360 ISB with 800 torque

We are looking at the Thor Aria 3901 and love the coach look and layout but concerned it may not have the power for CO mountains. Any help/encouragement would be appreciated. thanks,

Is 360hp/800 torque enough for a 40' DP?

I'm considering a Thor Aria 3901 that comes with the cummins ISB XT 6.7L. Is that enough power/torque for that size (about 35,000 GVW). Supposed to tow another 10,000 lbs.

    Hello from Tulsa

I'm looking for some advice on the cummins ism 6.7L 360 with 800 torque. I am considering a purchase of a 40' Thor Aria and I'm concerned it may not have the power needed for all the US trips I hope to take in it. any responses will be appreciated.
