    New to RV world

If you can afford more , you want to consider a lance , something from  K-Z , or Jayco. My two cents. Haven't bought any unit yet , but my choice is a Venture Sonic.

    What style of truck campers?

Once again I am considering a truck camper. Wife has informed me she would't be comfortable pulling a trailer , no matter how small. So , IIke the slide out for room , but most people have read about prefer non-slide type. Not planning any off-road wilderness trips. Looking for high quality...

    hitch weight

Wife has developed back problems, Trailer still on hold. Did have time to look at a few dealership. We have decided small does not suit us. So now its to a pickup and  something a little bigger.  If I could afford one would buy Outdoor or Northwood.

    hitch weight

I haven't looked at these in person yet , but have on my list a r-pod , escape mini , and sonic lite. Would really like a lance , but hard to justify paying as much as what I did for my house.

    hitch weight

Finally, after a hip surgery, fighting tendon problems both knees, I actually quit working! bought a AWD FORD FLEX with tow pkg. and now looking for a small camper. I've found a few floor plans I like within a safe weight (2800-3200), but hitch rating on some is at the max for my flex (450)...

    increase towing capacity

already figured max uvw would be pushing it at 3500 lb. Found a couple of floor plans we like in the 32 to33 range. , but considering all basic half ton trucks except GM only rated at 5000. unless you start adding options , the only advantage is cost. However my really like the way the...

    increase towing capacity

NO DUMMY HERE GUYS. understand the limits on weights and force of nature. haven't bought any towing vehicle yet,but not leaving no stone unturned. Any trailer bought will be small and light in weight. Just me and the honey. Only vehicle test drove so far is the dodge Durango. Liked it, but...

    moisture in bed area.

Thanks tc tom. Seems like proper ventilation and air movement will take care of most of the problem. However, since I might be solo most of the time, the easiest way is not to use the cabover bed.

    moisture in bed area.

various u-tube videos has mentioned moisture collecting in the bed area. Is this a common problem or just laziness on owners not taking proper care?

    Which to buy?

Thanks to everybody that put their nickel in. Really liked the Northwoods and the Lances. My wife don't want to pay that much, so the K-Z Connect line is at the top my list. I  like the retro trailers, not sure if I could live with all that wood and vinyl.
