We just got back from Oregon and Washington. No issues or restrictions. We stayed at Southern Oregon RV Park (Jackson County Park) Central Point, OR. The RV park is right outside Medford. Highly recommend the campground. Clean, nice staff, lots of grass, dog area. Easy in and out for big rigs...
Today is the big day. We are picking up our new to us 2018 Phaeton 37BH. Going to be a huge learning curve. Trying to get some information about the heated floors. Several questions: Can you put a throw rug down while the floors are heated? No rubber backing? Will dog beds create a burn spot on...
We are going to AK this summer also. Coming from So. Cal as well. We went 10 years ago and spend 100 days on the road. That includes our driving to the Canada border. It's about 1300 miles just to get to the Canadian Border from So. Cal. We live in the San Diego area. That's a lot of driving and...
We are planning on heading up to Canada and Alaska next year. I would love to travel the Sea to Sky Highway (Route 99) from Vancouver, BC to Whistler, then heading up to meet Hwy 97. Is it possible to drive your motorhome and tow up Hwy 99? Or would it be better to stay in the Vancouver area and...
According to city code, you are only allowed to park on the street for 3 days. There are several campgrounds in Morgan Hill south of San Jose. If you are an Elk member, there is an Elks Lodge in San Jose. Not sure if any of these allow long term camping.
We have a 35ft gasser. We always look for Costco's (if you are a member). Most of time you can fit with no problem even with a tow. Trucks are always a good bet. We also avoid getting gas inside a city. To hard to get around on some of the small streets. Try to use stations out of the city limits.
Just arrived in Oceanside, CA after a great rally. Thank you Mike & Chrystal for being such great hosts. Loved every minute of it. Hope to see you soon at another rally.

We leave our two labs in the MH when they can't come with us. We also have a sign on our door that there are pets inside. Depending on the campground, we also leave our door unlocked. We leave the radio. Seems to drown out the noise outside. Planning a trip next month and we know one of our...
Emma Wood State Beach is right on the beach in Ventura, CA. One of our favorite campgrounds on the coast. The lower numbers spots are better. Easier access to the beach.
Thanks for getting back to us. We have a 50 amp, so we will stay in our original spot. Sounds like George Martin might be looking for a spot, they may be interested.
