    Question looking for answer.

This question is for everyone. I'm interested in the statistics. Here we go. "If you own a motorhome, travel trailer, fifth wheel, class A,B C Super C or a small teardrop, why do you still go to RV shows? I have my theories but let's see what you think. Jeff

    Here's something cool!

All you have to do is put white electrical tape around the seam, and crazy glue around the lens. I've had mine for months and still works fine. Bonus is you can pick these up at Home Depot for $5.00 right now. Jeff

    There may be hope yet!

For those of you that have had problems with your coach from the beginning, this is a very interesting development. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iub0v_wjGlg

    Here's something cool!

So one thing I don't like is that there are no outside lights (except the awning leds of course) that help to light the front door. I found this item that runs on batteries, is waterproof, is magnetic and has motion sensors so when you walk up to the door at night, the light illuminates the...

    Motorhome Tire Covers

So then is it a good idea to store your RV tires on leveling blocks to keep them off the wet ground? My backyard tends to flood during hurricane season and I was going to store the RV on concrete blocks but think I might add anderson levelers to each tire to raise it up an additional 4 inchs. Jeff

    Safety Plan...spare tire

So it is ok to carry a spare tire without a rim? Good Sam can mount the tire on the existing rim? I'm wondering why the class C I'm about to buy does not have a spare, but a spot to store it on the basement. They say it does not come with a spare but the manufacturer has a space for it. Jeff

Is there such a thing as to many miles on a used RV?

Looking at a used 2017 Forest River RV with 29000 miles on it. Obviously it's been used with an average of 12000 a year. They obviously enjoyed using the RV and have taken care of it. It still has some factory warranty on the Ford and I believe a extended warranty that is transferable. Any...

Newbie looking at Winnebago Outlook 27D as first RV

I love the floorplan of the 2019 outlook, probably the most storage I've seen on any rv but I thought the build quality matched the lower price and it was void of features like back up camera. How can you have a rv without a backup camera? We are looking at other models and manufacturers. No...

Newbie looking at Winnebago Outlook 27D as first RV

sEILERBIRD, Thanks for the comments. First off this model is $60,000 at the dealer not $85. Secondly if you knew my wife you would know that this is the correct model (class C) for us. I have been looking at used models and have found a few we like but nothing in the $20,000 range. Jeff & Zita

New to this forum and RVing

My wife Zita and I are looking at C class RV's as I've got about 7 years left before retirement and want to get a headstart with some weekend trips. The longer trips will take place later. I hope to learn some valuable information while I'm here, and maybe meet some new friends out on the road...

    FireStick v AppleTV v OMGTV

Ed, in your case you still need a good internet connection. There is a post on this forum by solarman who has built his own version of the expensive We Boost LTE/wifi booster. This might help you out. Here's the link http://www.rvforum.net/SMF_forum/index.php/topic,119746.0.html As far as the...

    FireStick v AppleTV v OMGTV

The OMGTV box is a chinese $50 android box that this guy has setup with existing apps. You can buy a android device and set it up yourself for a lot less. We cut the cord a couple of years ago. we have an antenna for the locals but no longer use it because we subscribe to Playstation Vue which...
