    Greetings from Birch Bay, Washington

Nope, still closed.  Security precautions will never ease up again in our lifetime unfortuantely. Roy, nice to meet someone from Surrey!  One of the advantages of living so close to the border is that we can and do spend a lot of time in Vancouver and environs.    And a Nexus pass makes...

    Greetings from Birch Bay, Washington

Tom, we live in the Village; I probably know people you know.  My husband was an ARCO lifer too--35 years, mostly in Project Management but also in Operations on the Slope.    He's spent the nine years we've been here with Anvil, who you'd know, managing all work for BP.    The change in...

And where would that be?  Or if this RV talk that I don't understand yet:  everybody's "just up the road".  :)

    Greetings from Birch Bay, Washington

Hey Tom and Cheryl, I see you know the area!    We're on the other side of the bay from the refinery, and all I can say is the lights look real purty at night.  :)    We live on South facing waterfront--we actually own our own beach--so it's pretty comfortable.  Won't be able to talk...

    Tires: reccomendations and warnings?

Gary, we live in the Pacific Northwest, Washington state that is just south of the BC border.  Winters here are relatively mild but occasional snow and ice makes tire traction an occasional ssue, and that makes us hesitant to trust a regular highway tire.  We would not be without a 4WD or AWD...

    Dry Camping In B Vans

Okay, Len and Jo:  so what is a "sun shower"?

    Tires: reccomendations and warnings?

We would be interested in both!  The 2007 PleasureWay (Sprinter 2500 chassis) we just bought--we've never owned an RV before-- needs new tires before we go anywhere, and we're trying to sort out the best.  We tend to default to Michelin in all things tire for good wear and quiet riding, but...

    Greetings from Birch Bay, Washington

Almost 25 years to the day since the first date on which my now-hubby and I discovered we had the same all-time favorite book, which was about a road trip (Blue Highways, by William Least Heat Moon), we bought a Pleasure Way Sprinter Class B.    Can't wait to get on the road!
