    Winnebago Tank Level Sensors

I made a wand for flushing out the holding tank. I made one from 1/2 " PVC water pipe. Drilled a hole through the side of the pipe (pipe cap actually) so water would spray horizontally across the tank. It takes me 45 minutes of spraying to rinse the holding tank. My wife sometimes...

    03 sightseer slide motor replacement

Thanks John; The link you posted was a huge help.  I was able to obtain part numbers and names on motor possibilities.    Found some useful youtube videos.    The owner of the RV can move the slide manually so he decided to delay the repair until he gets back home.  He needs to get the...

How is the coronavirus outbreak affecting your future travel plans?

After 12 weeks in Florida we decided to head home to the Rockford Illinois area a week early because of the virus.    The virus news changed by the hour, decided not to wait a week for virus updates.  Made the decision to pack up and leave a week early.  I drove 15 hours the first day and 9...

    Ford Triton V10 won't start

Read above...  They got it running.  It wouldn't turn over because the Dash AC was frozen.  They removed the compressor and replaced it with an idler pulley.  Good to go now. Thanks for the help

    Ford Triton V10 won't start

Davismills had the correct solution.  :)  The AC compressor froze up.  A mechanic replaced the AC with an idler pulley, problem resolved. I'm back in Illinois for Christmas then return to Florida for the remaining winter.  I had a contact back in Florida for the update. Thanks for the help

    Ford Triton V10 won't start

AUX START is the same as jump start which they already tried. I need to know how many things would prevent the engine from turning over?    Is it possible a cylinder is flooded with gasoline?    Damaged gear on the flywheel? This is bound to have happened to someone else, what was the problem.

    Ford Triton V10 won't start

Not sure if anyone tried a jump start.  I'll try that in the morning.    That would sure be an easy fix.\\ Rather odd that this motorhome never had a prior issue. Drove it from Ohio to Florida.    It was running fine when parked on the camp sight.  Then, a few days later this problem...

    Ford Triton V10 won't start

I checked the oil just now and it looks fine. Could this engine be hydrolocked by a cylinder flooded with gasoline?? Jim

    Ford Triton V10 won't start

Trying to assist a woman traveling alone with  a 1999 ford Tritin V10, 75K on the engine.  Parked it on a camp sight and a couple of days later it failed to start.  At first we thought it was the starter so it was replaced.  At first The new starter made a grinding noise then all was quiet. ...

What I learned recently about my 2004 Brave

That 14 VDC was the coach batteries with the solar panel charging them.  Coach batteries are 12 or 13 volts at night. I started the motorhome 4 or 5 times before taking this trip and it always started fine.  I figured something must have been left on to have a dead battery in Florida.    The...
