    P1345 after lifter swap

I appear to be one of the lucky ones who was given the opportunity to change the crappy OEM lifters in my 7.4, I now understand that there are 2 kinds of 7.4's; those that have lifters that have failed and those that are going to fail. Overall a pretty straight forward job, BUT, even though I...

    Mailbox forwarding companies

Paypal has no fees if its sent via the friend and family option, I think the catch is it has to come from a bank account. I havent written a check in so long, dont even know if we have any, had to mail something last week and totally forgot how to do that too.

Window replacement going wrong... any tips or suggestions?

first thing it there is a slot cut out of the bottom of the window, this should not be sealed closed, its a drain, be sure you didnt put and windows in upside down. Even though you used butyl tape you should have used a nice bead of high grade clear silicone on the top and both sides, you can do...

    Pex tubing question

if its PB or Pex, you can cut the rings off and reuse the fitting, do it all the time, if its PB you have to get a conversion fitting to go from PB to Pex, the PB side has more barbs than the pex and if you put it in backwards it will be fairly tight, they conversion comes with the necessary...

    Thermostat fuse blowing!

wires are touching somewhere, did you recently hang a picture or make and wall penetrations anywhere? most likely a friendly mouse chewed on it, probably not to hard to run another. I would hope thats the simple solution, I guess there could be a problem in the furnace but I would hope not.

    30 Amp Issue

Ok, makes a little more sense now, 99%sure the male end is bad, loose or whatever, cheap to change, depot or lowes has them for $10, just take a picture of the wire layout before you take it apart, if you put them in the wrong order your going to have a bigger problem

    30 Amp Issue

The real confusing thing is that the op only says the mw doesnt work, I'm assuming everything else is ok......  Strange, very strange

Adding extra batteries to a class A

I replaced the 2 bad 6 volt batteries and put in two 12v marine batteries (probably not perfect but marine batteries seem close enough to me), I now have more amperage than I had with the 2 6 volt ones. As a side note I probably wont use the house batteries enough for it to make any real...

Serpentine belt change/ Dash air fix

it can be done but your going to be doing it blind because you really cant see everything an how its routed, if you can try to get some pictures before you pull the old one off it will help putting it back on.

    30 Amp Issue

this sounds confusing to me because it just doesnt make sense, the only thing I can wonder is what type of setup/adapters you may be using, if everything works via the generator and when you plug in via 15 amp I have to think the first place I would start is at your cord, ohm it out and see if...
