    Boondocking this winter

I'm going to be in the mid-west this winter (job related) and I'll be staying in an Alaskan truck camper. I plan to boondock the entire time to save on costs. My water supply (toilet and shower) I will join a gym for $5 per month. I have my backpack stove for cooking. My problem I'm having is of...

    Question about dinette seat cushions

I sprayed both seats down with White Vinegar and water today and left them in the sun. I'm hoping they'll smell better tomorrow.  :))

    Question about trailer wiring

I looked at those but the trailer connector is actually round, not flat. Also, it is a 6 pin, but only using 4 wire. I'm not sure why they hooked it up that way but that's what I've got to work with.

    Question about trailer wiring

Hello, I'm hoping someone here will be able to help me. I have a GMC 3/4 truck bed trailer whose trailer hitch doesn't fit into my plug on 2011 Silverado. I bought a new connector that will fit the truck (6 pins + 1 in the middle) The trailer connector off my truck bed trailer is a 4-wire pin...

    Bolt size

Thank you everyone for your great advice, I just purchased the half inch material tonight and hopefully we'll get it put in the next day or two. Sorry Rene, I should have been more specific. But yes it's my Alaskan camper. OP, I will post my rig information as you have recommended. Thank you all...

    Bolt size

Can someone give me information on what size bolt to use when bolting the camper down? I'm thinking 1/2" Another thought is wouldn't a strong enough wind rip the flooring right off the camper even when it's bolted down? ? It's 3/4" plywood. Thanks for any help, Joe

    Question about dinette seat cushions

I think I'll just live with what I have. The upholster I found told me she is 10 weeks out. I'm going to pour a lot of baking soda on it tonight to see if that helps. I can put a mattress cover around it too.

    Question about dinette seat cushions

I'm thinking about tossing them and getting new ones because I don't think I can ever get rid of the mildew smell. Does anyone know how hard it would be to do it yourself? Where would I buy the material if I choose to go this route? Or, if I had someone do it, how much can I expect to pay? The...

    Question about dinette seat cushions

I bought a vintage truck camper and the interior is in excellent shape that other than replace gaskets and re-chalking, I'm good to go. The seat cushions are in excellent shape as well. No rips or stains and still retains the firmness. My problem is it has that musty smell to it. It probably has...

    Alaskan Camper

Well here she is! Made it home w/o any problem at all and it actually rode very nicely. It has a little wood rot in the back corner and not sure what I can do about that. But overall, I am very pleased and blessed that I got a home when I have to go out of town and work next month. I spent most...
