    sprinter van chassis- older vs newer

    I am shopping for a class B on a sprinter diesel chassis. I am looking at models from 2006-2007, right around the time that manufacturers changed over from the 2500 chassis with a 5 cylinder diesel to the 3500 chassis with a 6 cylinder diesel.  Can someone give me advice in the differences...
