    Coleman Split Air Conditioner Shrouds

I have Coleman roof air conditioners on my Winnebago. The shrouds are the two-piece kind. They don't appear to come off without being split apart and they don't seem to split apart easily. Has anybody had experience taking these shrouds off? I don't want to tear one up trying to figure it out.

    Sightseer Toilet Sprayer

I was a little disappointed that we didn't get a sprayer on our toilet. For anybody else that wanders into this thread thinking there might be something here about that, I made a useful discovery the other day: I don't need a toilet sprayer because the shower hose in my 35J reaches the toilet...

Sofa Bed collapses (Sightseer 35J and probably some other models)

I have the fold out sofa bed with the air mattress in my Sightseer 35J. It sets up nicely, but as soon as anybody gets on it and moves around any, the bottom third starts to fold up. This is the part with the tubular legs that flip out to support it and it's supposed to fold back toward the sofa...

Hello! And, looking for thoughts on the new 2011 Sightseer 33c...

I think they are. I pulled the 2010 brochure to see what the floorplan of the 33C looked like and it listed a diesel option. The unfortunate thing about the diesel option is that, the last time I saw it specified, the fuel tank is way too small. Diesel should give more miles per gallon, but not...

Hello! And, looking for thoughts on the new 2011 Sightseer 33c...

Was going to mention the review in Motorhome magazine. Nice write-up. On the king bed option, we have it and I think all in all I'd rather have a little more room to move around in the bedroom. The king bed takes up almost all of the space in the bedroom our 35J. But, except for sleeping and...

Bad rust on an 08 Journey 39z ? help!

My '09 has the same rust as pictured in the OP. If I had spotted it a few months earlier, I would have still been under warranty and would have had it addressed by my dealer. I was really, really disappointed to find so much rust just 14 months after buying it new off the lot. :o It seems...

Hello! And, looking for thoughts on the new 2011 Sightseer 33c...

The CCC on my '09 35J is over 3,000 pounds. I suspect it would be in the same ballpark on the 33C, though you will have an additional slide and the driver-side slide on the 33C is huge, so that could cut into CCC a bit versus the 35J. I read a press release on the "new & improved" Ford chassis...

    String for Day/Night shades?

I haven't had to tangle with one of these yet myself, but I've seen where others have used fishing line with good results.

    Front overhead TV (Sightseer 35J)

There's more than one plug in the cabinet. One is fed by the inverter. The other is regular AC power. Which can be supplied from the generator. While in motion. I found that the audio level needed for the TV to be heard by others was too much for me to take up front. I'd recommend some personal...

    How Winnebago 35J tows

Just got home today from a weekend trip into the Shenandoah Virginia area with our '09 35J towing a '03 Suzuki XL-7. This trip includes some serious grades through WV and VA along I-64. I made this same trip last year without the Suzuki. As others have pointed out, it's only another 4,000...

    Our 2010 View is awful!

We added a memory foam topper to the main bed. It helps a lot.

    Swiveling Driver Seat

By golly that worked! Thank you! I never realized that the seaback tipped forward. Why would it in a motorhome? But it does and that's what it took.

Parts are in and everything will be repaired; at least that's what she said.

    There's a joke in there somewhere. ;)

    Our 2010 View is awful!

And the crazy thing in my case is that I knew that. I've hung out in forums long enough to know that almost every one of these beasts has to get some bugs worked out new from the factory. What has surprised me, especially with Winnebago's reputation, has been the reluctance (and sometimes...

    Swiveling Driver Seat

That's what I thought. It's a poor design, especially for just sitting around. With our TV up front, I've reclined it facing forward to watch TV. Note to those who might do that: make sure you don't have the seat reclined any at all when it's time to bring the living room slide in! BTDT, but...
