Is all of Florida booked a year out?

Had to leave our gov't campground during the shutdown in February. Found it very difficult to get a campsite in the Melbourne , Cape Canaveral area.  Any place that's good seems to be full.

    Oil changes

Never had a failure do to engine oil failure. By the way the weight of oil has little to do with its lubricating properties. It's the Viscosity Index that does.  5-20 or 10-30 are viscosity indexes and have nothing to do with how much the oil weighs.

    Insurance Increases

Is anyone at an LTVA to tell us how the Gov shutdown is affection them?

Me and 200 other campers are being kicked out of KARS park at Merritt Island.  The place is run by NASA employees whom are all being furloughed Monday. A lot of campers are older military retirees.  Many are leaving their rigs and going to a motel.  They will not have access until the shutdown...

    Wind deflectors

I don't wear Gary gets a 20% number. It's more like 2% savings. Assume an 18  wheeler over the road. 60 hours a week at 60 mph . 4 miles per gal. equals 15 gal. / hour or about $52.50/ hour. Times 60 =$3150 /week fuel bill. A 2 % savings is about 63 dollars a week or a $3,150 savings per year...

Propane water heater: turning it off when not in use?

Water heaters have a pressure relief valve. I don't think you have to worry about your water heater producing an unsafe pressure no mater how you run your heater. I shut mine down every chance I get. No problems in 12 years.

    Quebec City

I also stay at KOA just south of Quebec City. Usually not a KOA fan but the shuttle to old Quebec is very good. Parking for a toad is at a premium in the old town. Old Quebec City is a great place to visit for about 2 days.

Engine RPMs and oil change intervals the e450 engine

Highest point in PA is 3200 feet and  all roads are lower. So you won't have trouble with loss of power. Your pretty close. At 7500 feet you are close to only 70% of sea level power. If your in PA and on a steady climb from 800' to 2000 feet I don't see how you would go slower and slower unless...

Engine RPMs and oil change intervals the e450 engine

I climb mountains in PA. I climb the steeper ones at 57 mph at 3200 rpm.  In 10 years my v10 RV has never seen 4000 rpm.  The torque peak is at 3200 rpm.  I see this question come up from time to time and wonder why 4000 to 5000 rpm is needed to get your RV over a hill.

    RV Garage

I put up a 24'x40' steel building 2 years ago. I selected a 12' wide and 14' high door. Plenty of room for mirrors and having more than 6' on each side is really nice.  Now my RV only sees rain or sun is when I use it. I alslike my cement floor.
