    Replacing brake fluid

Definitely old bad fluid, probably overheated by one brake dragging. We replaced calipers, rotors, every rubber brake hose etc. The MC had been replaced a few years earlier and is still fine.

    Replacing brake fluid

I had a brake failure a few years ago, in flat central Florida of all places, on New Years Day. The pedal went to the floor. I pulled over and after it cooled off a bit pedal pressure came back. The fluid was about four years old, and nasty. Three years later the fluid tested ok with an...

    State Parks

NM has stated outright that prices should be consistent with other parks while offering non-FHU dirt/gravel sites and removing all discounts, comparing apples and bananas. A dirt lot on a lake does not consitute a resort. However, the public hearing scheduled for April 1 was cancelled, which may...

Any one has good (or bad) experience with this roof tape ?

I have a 31-year-old DP MH that had Eternabond installed over the center roof seam before 2013. It's still fine. Clean with Eternabond cleaner or acetone, apply Eternabond primer, put the tape down and then press hard using a metal roller, and it'll be there just about forevever. The pressure...

    After the Water Heater Fire

Kirk you're right; I was thinking of the thermal fuse. I've had to replace it even though it wasn't visibly burned.

    After the Water Heater Fire

Replace the ECO button fuse/thermostat. It shuts the wh down if fire comes out where it's not supposed to. That wires were melted indicates that it didn't do its job.

    Post Office - General Delivery

Some post offices will accept UPS and FedEx deliveries to a PO box. Surprised me too. Be sure to ask, not assume.

    Purpose of motorhome beauty rims.

I finally threw the things away and painted the rims dark grey.

Kitchen sink fell into the base cabinet.

Marinetex Epoxy Putty or 3M 5200 will certainly hold it in place; you must hold or clamp the joint together until cured. Sounds like you really need to install some sort of framing or supports.

New Mexico State Park Fee Increase Proposal

I have yet to encounter a contemporary resort facility in a NM state park that would support a contemporary resort price. The way locals pack NM state parks on weekends I expect a lot of outrage if the new prices go into effect. They have hidden the study/proposal well; you have to go looking...
