    Batteries too heavy

Try lifting that 60lb battery to chin level, extending it out to arms length (through a 12" high opening), lowering it to waist level behind the grill and positioning it to the left or right onto a battery tray/shelf.  I seriously doubt that one-in-ten people can do it at 47 much less 74.  I...

    Batteries too heavy

On my '97 Bounder my batteries are also mounted behind the grill work.  They are positioned left and right of center,  I used a shop jack to lift each battery up into that center area from the bottom, and then slid them off the jack into position in their respective trays.  The old ones were...

1994 Fleetwood Bounder ignition relay not getting energized.

There is a relay in the BCC called the Ignition Relay.  It does not seem to be energizing.  On your '94 the relay may be mounted on the board or it may be in the box along with the isolator and disconnect solenoids. If you need detailed BCC diagrams and diagnostic procedures just ask.  lou...

    Applying ZEP

Maybe it's because I have Amazon Prime, but when I click on those links, the "Wet Look" comes up a few dollars cheaper.  ($23.72 v/s $25.11)  I'm not sure if shipping charges from the other vendors is responsible for the difference or not..  If you were near me, I would give you a gallon. Some...

    Applying ZEP

I think you have the cost of those two products reversed in your mind.  The wet look is the cheaper. What will happen if you put it on windows?  You will be very sorry, that's what will happen.

    Power Gear 3-jack issue

John, here's the link to the Service manual for the Power Gear Jacks.  Please point me to the reference to this elusive mid-coach sensor.  Please tell me what it is sensing?

    Power Gear 3-jack issue

Bill, on our vintage Power Gear levelers, the control panel is the control unit.  There is no other controller.  (that was a change that came along about '99) I had the same symptoms a few years ago.  I found the ground for the control panel was cut.  On my Bounder, the ground is  a #2 black...

    Magnetek 6300A Model 6345

Quick answer, absolutely not.  That's one reason why the newer technology is preferred.  The old Magneteks, and that generation of converters, held the charge voltage too high after charge that it would damage the batteries over time.

Steps, Slides, Battery Disconnects Inoperable after trip to mechanic.

All of the functions that you listed are fed power from the chassis battery through the BCC.  You might want to check the battery connections of all batteries very closely.  Check the battery connections going into the side of the BCC box also. Do you have 12V power to Terminal P-13 on the side...

    Lost all power please help

The '98 Bounder most definitely does have a battery disconnect solenoid.  It is located in the BCC (Battery Control Center).  The BCC is located on the drivers side of the firewall behind the front hood.  The solenoids are located behind the circuit board.  These solenoids are...

1997 fleetwood bounder, ford motor, gas 32h

I don't currently have a photo, but here is the wiring diagram from that area. In addition to the large black ground cable on aux battery #2 you may have a small #6 wire, if you have the leveler option.
