I've seen the work that Advanced RV does and there is no doubt that they do a first class job. But as Dhowie pointed out they are not cheap. I have friends that have had them done and they love them.

If nothing else that should be a dealer PDI issue. They should have checked and tested to make sure all the features were working. They just don't seem to care anymore. As for the issue of quality control ... it seems to be none existent in North America. I've seem too many issues with my own...
