    But there's no reason it should be emotional.  ???  Rather I would think it should be informative and based on personal experiences (what I'm looking for), not subjective opinions. That is unless someones dealt with the worst case scenario.....  Then I would agree that there's room for emotion.

    Catalytic heaters hardly use any propane and will stretch out a regular 7 pound bottle for well over a week.  And they use zero electricity which is a huge benefit camping where there is no camp plug in's.  House furnaces will blow (no pun) through a tank of propane in a couple days, depending...

    Yes.....it was a type-o.  I currently have two CO detectors and thought about adding a third just for piece of mind. And in saying that, do they even make CO2 detectors?

    My TH does have a propane sensor sitting directly next to the catalytic heater and I have a couple CO2 detectors as well.  One up high were it came from the factory and another I installed down low.  I'm thinking of adding a third just to be triply safe..... And yes, I keep the heater covered...
