    HWH Jack System Parts

I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to ask if your Trombetta Master Relay is still working.  You used an intermittent-use relay.  HWH says intermittent-use is okay for the pump relay, but the master relay should be rated continuous-use.  I think the equivalent part number would be...

    Interesting Destinations in Texas/Oklahoma?

Thanks, everyone, for all the great tips!  We are leaving Branson tomorrow for Claremore, OK City, Amarillo (Canyon), Abilene, and more.  We'll be hitting a bunch of your suggestions.

    Interesting Destinations in Texas/Oklahoma?

We are currently in Nashville on our way west.  We'll be in Branson (never been there) Tuesday to Saturday and then work our way towards Austin to visit our son and DIL for a week.  We may also go to Fredericksburg for a few days.  I have to be home mid-May for a medical procedure.  Subtracting...

What NOT to do when faced with the dreaded BSOD

To me, the first thing to try upon receiving the BSOD is to open up the CPU box and remove & reseat the memory chips.  The contacts can oxidize over time.  That has saved both my sisters' computers in the past year or so.

    Western Digital backup drive

That's what I do.  I have a couple of 1.5TB Toshiba Canvio drives that I rotate between home and the SD box.

    Multiple Kindle Usage?

As far as I can tell on my iPad2, you can't do text to speech in the Kindle app directly.  You have to do an Accesibility General Setting outside of the app.  Then it is a pain to get around with that turned on.  I haven't updated to the latest software rev, however, so maybe it works better...

Out of Retirement and back in the saddle

I retired six months ago.  My former boss called me this week to ask me if I would like to come back to work part-time.  I'm thinking about it.  Maybe three days a week with blocks of time off for RV trips...

    Multiple Kindle Usage?

We have a 4th-gen Kindle and also use the Kindle app on an iPad2.  We can keep the same library of e-books automatically on both the Kindle device and the iPad2. My question is:  If we bought additional Kindle devices (such as the paper-white Kindle or Kindle Fire), would we be able to have the...

    Getting Past NYC

That's what I ended up doing -- 222 north to I78 (good road except for ~15 congested miles) I78 east to I287 (pretty good road) I287 around to I95 ($25 toll to cross the Tappanzee Bridge!) I95 up to New London area (numerous slow spots) Thanks to all for the help!

Where do you buy gas for a large MH in New England?

I tried getting that app for my iPad2, but it says that it is for ios6 only.  I haven't updated to that version because of the Google-to-Apple map fiasco.  I know they brought back an iPhone version of Google maps for ios6, but I have not heard that they have an iPad version.

Where do you buy gas for a large MH in New England?

In my Pilot/Flying-J app, that place is listed as a Pilot Travel Center.  Looking at an overhead view of it, it does not look like a Flying-J.  I see lots of truck lanes, but no obvious gas or RV lanes.  Can you buy gas in the truck lanes or only diesel?

Where do you buy gas for a large MH in New England?

We're in eastern Pennsylvania now and headed to Maine and back in the next month.  It seems pretty clear that buying gas up here is not going to be as easy as in the southeast or out west.  There, you can usually find multiple gas choices at every exit and a Flying-J every 75 miles or so.  There...

    Leaving Yellowstone

Jim -- Your daughter and family will be in our thoughts and prayers.  Have a safe journey back east. Any idea when you will hit CT?  Cheryl and I will be in East Lyme over Labor Day weekend on our way to Maine.  Then we'll pass back through sometime after September 14th.
