Crossfire Dual Tire Pressure Equalization Monitoring System

Hello all, I'm hoping to have my new truck in late May or early June. 2022 3500 Laramie cab/chassis with flatbed. It will be my first dually. Any thoughts on using Crossfire? Seems like a good idea to me. I don't know what pressure I'd want as I have not seen the door jamb sticker yet. 65 PSI...

    Rear axle ratio question

Hello all, Given today's multi speed transmissions ( 8sp, 10sp) how much difference will rear end ratio make? This is what I've found via google: A numerically higher ratio — say, 3.9 as opposed to 3.2 — can pull heavy loads much better but has a worse fuel economy and lower speed. By contrast...

    Truck camper vs. tow behind

    Single rear wheel or Dual?

    camper slides

Hello all, I don't currently have slides. A friend has had a couple campers and had trouble with slides. So my question is are the problematic or have I just heard the bad side and not the good side. They definitely give more room but if they are not dependable then I would not consider them...

    Single rear wheel or Dual?

Hello all, I'm torn between the choice. I guess the question comes down to this. Is the ride of a dually better than a single rear wheel. I don't need the extra payload of a dually but if the ride is significantly better it may be worth the extra cost, that is tires at replacement time, as...

    Decisions, decisions, Fords or Dodge

Hello all, I'm probably going to replace my 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 with v-10 next year. Looking at the Ford and Dodge websites and building a 350 / 3500 I find similar pricing. I've been happy with my current Dodge but want a better payload capacity and the new 6 or 10 speed transmissions as...
