Canadians using cell phone in USA

What do you do for a cell phone plan when traveling in the US?  I usually add a plan to my existing Canadian plan (we have Virgin and Telus) but it is quite limited on data allowed or gets quite expensive.  Are there better options if purchasing a plan directly from a US provider?

    RV in western Canada

If you enjoy hot springs, there are several in the Nakusp and Kootenay areas. I would suggest taking Hwy 3 to Hwy 97 and then North along Okanagan Lake to Vernon and Hwy 6 to Nakusp. There are many beautiful lakes along this route. You could then either continue on Hwy 6 south through Slocan to...

    Canada way

Not exactly answering your question but recommend going through the Okanagan Valley if you are heading to Kamloops. It's a beautiful area!

    Utah and Nevada route questions

Thank you for saying this.  This is exactly what this trip is for us.  My husband has lost both his parents in the last 2 years and made us realize we need to do this now while they are still able to travel.  This trip is about them and what they'd like to see.  I think I'll take a look and do...

    Utah and Nevada route questions

Thank you for your replies. I too thought we should skip Vegas but my dad wants to see it.  We will stay at Oasis as my husband and I have stayed before and enjoyed it. My dad's "bucket list" was to see the Grand Canyon.  When we said we'd go with them (my mom won't go that far anymore on...

    Utah and Nevada route questions

Hello, We will be travelling with my parents (we both have trailers - one 26' TT and one 26' 5th) from British Columbia for kind of a bucket list trip for them in September.  We will be meeting in Salt Lake City and will stay at Cherry Hill as we've been before and I think my parents would like...

    BC to Las Vegas

We have made it to Salt Lake City and have decided to visit Moab and Zion before going to Las Vegas. We have been looking at the map and wonder about stops at North Rim and Bryce as well. We will leave SLC tomorrow for Moab. What is the best route to visit all these places and end up in Las...

    BC to Las Vegas

93 is what MS Streets & Trips is telling us to take but I was curious if that was the best route.  We will follow your advice and go 15 South.  Thanks so much!

    Waterton / Glacier

Thanks Tom, I will look into adding the west side to our route. I read about the deer being aggressive with dogs at the Townsite Campground in Waterton on a RV park review website. Seemed to be a common complaint. No I wouldn't leave him tied up, I was just concerned about being able to walk him...

    Waterton / Glacier

This forum has assisted us greatly the last few years planning our trips to the Oregon Coast, Yellowstone and Lake Tahoe/San Francisco -- thank you!  This time I'm hoping to get any suggestions and advice for Waterton and Glacier parks. We will be leaving from Kelowna BC  with our 26'TT the...

    Tahoe, Yosemite and San Francisco

Thanks for the info Tom.  We spent the day today driving and sightseeing at Lake Tahoe.  The views of Emerald Bay were fantastic!  I think we'll take the I-880 and San Mateo bridge.  Thanks again for the info!
