    ladder lights

    Thank you all! Fleetwood sent me all the wiring diagrams they had for 1990. The switch you would think, would be by the entry but it isn't. It happened to be tied into the interior light switch. I have to thank Gizmo 100 for the brilliant suggestion.

    ladder lights

    Oh yeah! actually, I thought the same thing about one of the compartment switches. Knowing that I have already checked and replaced the bulbs and temporarily connected power to the wires coming down from the lights and they work, none of the switches turn on the lights. I am hoping that someone...

    ladder lights

    Actually, I meant to say the dome light circuit. I had to add this because a lot of people on this forum are extreme critics. I found this out when I first joined several years ago. Thank you

    ladder lights

    Thank you for that suggestion. I haven't thought of that. If it turns out to be the dome light switch I will let you know. Thanks again for the idea!!!

    ladder lights

    Also, I can live without the lights as I have for years it's just that I have completely restored this RV and this is the only item left. It would be nice to have them work to complete my project.

    ladder lights

    There are lights above the ladder mounted on the coach. I assume if you needed to climb the ladder to get to the roof at night you turn them on with a switch mounted somewhere inside the RV. I just have not been able to locate the switch. All the switches inside the RV work such as the step...

    ladder lights

    I am sorry for not being more specific. I am talking about the ladder on the back of the motorhome, nothing to do with the steps. It is listed in the manual as the ladder lights but they don't say where the switch is.

    ladder lights

    I have a 1990 Ford Fleetwood Jamboree. Does anyone know where the switch for the ladder lights is located. I have checked out everything associated with the lights i.e. bulbs, wiring to the lights up to where the wires disappear into the coach. I have tried every switch possible. Please, I just...

    window seals

    Fortunately, I came across Interstate RV Metal & Supply. I found  the rubber molding I have been looking for. In case anyone else is looking for this item it is #009-482 @ $3.00 a foot. Thanks..

    window seals

    I have a 1990 Ford Fleetwood Jamboree. I have looked everywhere for the rubber seal the goes along the top of the jalousie windows. I have been told by my nearest rv center that you can't get them anymore. I have Googled and can not come up with anything. Does anyone have an idea where to look...

    using house battery

    Actually Gary, I am very happy with this rig. Low miles and the interior is in wonderful shape and the price was right. By the way, I did visit this forum and read about others fixing up older units. We all aren't rich!

    using house battery

    Yes, I was told earlier in the post that my batteries are wired in parallel giving 12V and twice the amps. They both power the house. The previous owner did not tell me all the expensive repairs this RV was in need of and figures I will harass him so he won't accept my calls. I can't get him to...

    using house battery

    No, I can't find a switch to save my life. When I turn the ignition to the on position you hear an audible click and then you get power to the RV but not without the key turned on. I have two batteries hooked up in parallel. The vehicle and house battery. They both have a charge but nothing...

    using house battery

    I have a 1990 Ford Fleetwood Jamboree. I don't understand why I have to turn the ignition to the on position to get power to the house. My other RV had a switch that you used to isolate power. Previous owner never returns my calls. I am still new to this rig.

    batteries

    Like I said, I felt stupid asking! Thanks to everyone who responded. That was easy, I should have thought of checking the battery to the starter.
