    Electrical System issues

We just had an issue with a our 12volt system. We have a battery shut-off switch located on the dash and the solenoid to which it is connected was bad. Not sure if yours works the same way just thought I'd through the idea out there.

    Help/ suddenly no 12v

I wanted to first, thank everyone who offered their advice in order to help us resolve our problem. It's comforting knowing that this wealth of knowledge is available. I contacted 207 RV Service based on several recommendations. Dan provided a quick response, within one hour after my original...

    Help/ suddenly no 12v

Thank-you Gary, Thankfully the fridge is running, and thankfully it's been very comfortable here so not having the a/c isn't an issue. I inquired from several people in the area about a mobile rv service and they all recommended the same one. I have contacted him and he will be tomorrow...

    Help/ suddenly no 12v

Thank-you Rene! I did speak with them and they were able to refer me. I am going to give them a call. I was hoping to avoid needing them but I know my limits. I don't want to turn what might be a minor problem into a fire!!

    Help/ suddenly no 12v

Hi Mark, Thank-you for your reply. The fridge runs on the 120 so that's a good thing. Anything that is run on the 12 volt, interior lights, fans, toilet, thermostats, are no longer functional. I have tested all the fuses that power these and reset all of the breakers. My charging controller...

    Help/ suddenly no 12v

We are currently in an RV park in Trenton Maine. We have a 2001 Monaco Signature 45. Last night we lost our 12v. I had a kitchen fan on and turned on some lights and suddenly everything went dark. We still have 120 so I am at a complete loss. I am not able to locate a fuse or a relay that...

    Good cheap trailer tires?

It is not always the price of the tire that determines how well it will function. How you take care of them has just as much to do with it. It doesn't matter which end of the dollar spectrum you are on if you don't adhere to its capabilities. People tend to overlook their tires despite the...

Need advice about title, registration, taxes

I don't know about Ohio but here in New Hampshire you can be titled without any requirement of registration. You can own the vehicle (title) and as long as you are not operating it (includes pulling a trailer) on a public road there is no requirement to register it.

DP; downshift or let the turbo boost go to max? also Neutral for waiting at a light?

I find that 5th gear and around 1700 rpm's works perfect for my 500 hp ISM. I rarely select 6th gear unless the road appears flat to the horizon.

'02 Adventurer Hydraulic Slide (Bedroom) Issue

If you have more than one cylinder for this particular slide and it's not too costly you might want to have both cylinder's done. A couple of years ago I had a cylinder develop a leak because the seal was just plain old. In talking with the folks who service our coach they suggested changing...

23 Year Old Trying to Understand Insurance!

For what it is worth: We use Allstate for our home and vehicles including the coach. Unfortunately we did have to file one claim for the coach but it was painless, they paid it without any issues and it did not effect our rate. As a suggestion, you may want to look at basic comp and collision...

    Area power failure, lesson time

My goal is to prevent damage to my transfer switch and inverter. It's not the cheap tv's I am worried about. It's the fridge, ac units, convection oven, etc. I am looking to install something between the source and the coach to prevent surges or low power from ever reaching the coach. o

    Area power failure, lesson time

With the explosion of people buying RV's and campgrounds that are bulging at the seams I am becoming more and more concerned over power issues. I am considering purchasing either a surge protector or an EMS system. Looking for your experiences with either or both and the pros and cons. Thanks...

Can I get my TT into my driveway?

You said in an earlier reply that you could store it for about 50 bucks a month ( $600.00 a yr). One wrong move could easily cost you more than a couple years of rent, just my two cents.
