    Problem with Norcold Frig

JPBJR, Was the motor home in a rain shower recently?  Our black box would trip after a shower. I could get it to resent until one day it wouldn?t.  I had previously installed an ARP and the black box was redundant so I removed it.  The ARP works great and turns off the fridge when temps get too...

    Overhead Electronics Cabinet - Heat

I have Dish with a 211k receiver that is known to over heat and loose audio until it cools.  It also has a USB plug in the back of the receiver.  I bought a dual fan that are only connected by a single USB cable that I plug into the receiver.  I point one to blow air in and the other fan to blow...

    Brake Buddy Shuts off

What do you have it plugged into? Mine would do that and Brake Buddy sent me a direct battery line to use.  The Brake Buddy seems to be right on the edge of power use.  Mine works fine now.

    Nimble temperature monitoring device-beware!

Deb, I had the same issues as you but stuck with it.  It seems the initial log in to the website does not properly transfer information to the User information.  My User Name became my one of my email addresses and my password became my phone number.  These were not the User Name or Passwords I...

Dometic "Oasis Automatic RV Door Awning" 56 inches long

Lou, I have a 2004 Itasca Meridian that I bought a Oasis motor for.  Unfortunately/fortunately I had to buy an assembly from Fiamma and have the left hand front and back pieces.  They are white and come that way. They are yours if you want them.  Just pay postage. My Meridian Oasis is...

Bob T, Fiamma USA is the way to go. They are half the cost when Dometic has the part.

    Transmission gear indicator assembly broke.

Garyb1st, My 2001 Bounder cable stay on my Ford broke in pieces too.  I used heavy duty zip ties, thinking I would make a permanent fix later as I did not know how to remove the long cable.  I forgot about it and the zip ties lasted for over two years when I traded it. The dealer said he would...

Weather Pro Power awning wind sensor issue

I believe the alarm means your system has lost contact with the wind sensor.  Mine looks like a phone jack cable and runs to a sensor on the roof.

New Snow Birds looking for recommendations

Thanks for the great suggestions.  I am making a list as I get them. We are mostly home bodies, reading and entertaining the dogs with walks.

New Snow Birds looking for recommendations

Hello, The wife and I are looking to becoming "Snow Birds" this winter and are looking for recommendations for a two month stay to get away from the Midwest winters.  We are looking for fairly nice pad sites and understand that grass may not be an option.  We have four small dogs. Doesn't...

HOW TO Access my Radiator & CAC/Slobber Tube for Cleaning

Keith, I have cut and access panel into the fan shroud in my Itasca.  This gives me great access to the CAC and the inside of the radiator.  I overheated in the mountains and when I got home I checked several forums and found the access solution which worked for me.  You will have to removed...

    Pusher Radiator Cleaning

I ended up cutting an access panel into the fan shroud about 4 X 8 inches on top.  I use a garden sprayer with 1/2 dawn and 1/2 Simple Green Extreme. I soak the area down and rinse with garden hose sprayer.  I can reach behind the radiator and the front and back of the CAC.  I check it with a...

Radiator not blowing air off surface - 05' Winnebago Journey 39K

I had the same problems and fixed it just as SargeW did.  Check the slobber tube to see if you are venting oily mist into your radiator.  If so there are plenty of threads on fixes.  I used a plastic peanut butter jar with steel wool. I cut an access hole in the fan shroud to get behind the...

    Surge suppressor advice

I use a 50 AMP Surge Guard brand on the Itasca.  I had a 30 AMP in the other two MHs before that.  Several times they detected incorrect wiring that could have caused issues before I plugged in the MH.  Both of mine have been portable and I haven't purchased a lock yet.  I would not be without...
