Size of opening in bedroom slide bay in Montana 3750FL

Hi We leave our trailer in Washington State and live on Vancouver Island BC, so I can't easily check this myself. We just purchased new Sailun tires for our 5th wheel so I need to purchase a new compressor that will sustain 100+ lbs, I have one in mind but I need to know if it will fit in the...

    Best dog breeds for fulltiming?

We had for 12 years a very large gentle German Shepherd, the breed is intelligent, learns quickly is very tolerant of small dogs, and is a great for warding off trouble just by being there. We took our dog to Alaska, Mexico across Canada, down the eastern seaboard to Texas and then across to...

    Flushing with hot water

Heard back from Keystone they told me to submit the cost for the repair and they would consider it, which is all I was expecting. Will let you know what the final result is when I hear from Keystone. I am a member of MOC but no one on that site had experienced the problem.

    Flushing with hot water

We ran into an interesting problem with our 2012 Montana, somehow they managed to hook our toilet up to the hot water line. While it may help sanitize the toilet apparently according to our tech it may have contributed to an early failure of the shutoff valve, so now we have to shut off the...

Canon SX260 HS, am close to keeping.

One other thing that we like about this camera is the GPS, we just came back from an 8 month RV trip and no longer have to look at a picture and wonder where it was taken. That alone was worth the price of the camera.

    Montana 3750FL

We have a 3750Fl, this is our 3rd 5th wheel, we love the floor plan and the room. We are just back from a 15,000 mile trip it is a great floor plan if you plan to spend a lot of time in your 5th wheel. Michael

Travel around the Gaspe Peninsula in Quebec

Thank you for the information so far, one thing we will probably do is to split into 3 groups with an hour difference between leaving times to maximize our access to rest stops.

Travel around the Gaspe Peninsula in Quebec

I am in the process of plan a trip around Gaspe Peninsula for 6 rigs including four class A?s 40?+ all with toads.  What we would like to do is to try to see some of the sights while in route to our next campground. My questions are as follows: 1. are  some or all of the rest areas shown on the...

Going to Alaska next summer and have some questions....

One reference book that we found very useful during our two trips to Alaska was Alaskan Camping by Mike and Terri Church, it does a much better job of rating campgrounds than does the Milepost. I too would suggest at least 2 months in Alaska, there is just so much to see. One of the highlights...

    Rattlesnake vaccine

Thank you for all of the information. The main reason I was concerned is that the place where we will spend a month is Mexico apparently has a lot of sidewinders. Exposure to snakes seems to be luck-of-the-draw, I grew up in rattlesnake country, spent years hiking ran into a snake only once...

    Rattlesnake vaccine

I've just heard about a rattlesnake vaccine for dogs. We are just about to start a four month trip to rattlesnake country (deserts of Arizona Mexico and California). Have any of you used this vaccine and what does it cost? We have a large German Shepherd, he's seldom off lead, but some of these...

    water heater

Since I'm thinking of adding a Hot Rodd to our hot water tank, I'm curious about why it needs "major surgery". I thought that the sensor (thermostat) just attached to the tank.

    Glad to join the forum

Our names are Michael and Diane Jones. We are just about to retire and plan to snowbird. We have a 32ft Okanagan 5th Wheel pulled by  a 2003 Dodge CTD. We love big dogs and travel with a lean 110 lb friendly, but protective German Shepherd called Tye. We have a Western Horizon Campground...

Work Camping: Please excuse my nose!

Just wondering, in order to work in state parks do you have to be a US citizen? I am a teacher and my wife is an OR nurse, we would like to be camp hosts but we are Canadians. Michael
