Denmarc, it's ok to vent on this forum.  I for one understand your frustration.  I spent 30 yrs in the US Navy and saw a lot of s*$$ in that time.  There are always people that will turn on their friends.  It has been that way since time began.  I hope your son gets his equipment back.

I had an 06 Liberty diesel CRD and I would definitely use brakes on a 3500 lb trailer and use a brake controller

all prior post were excellent suggestions.  I settles on a 2 ft builders level and keep the bubble between the lines and that is more than sufficient.  The major factor being the fridge and the spec on it is + or - 2 degrees on center.  I am always less than 1 degree and it is to difficult...

Did you check the breaker/fuse tripped/blown?  I had that on my TT a couple of weeks ago.

What kind of trailer do you have.  saying a pin lock leads me to believe it's a 5th wheel. Amazon carries a lot of RV accessories and here is a link to their pin locks.  You can probably find the one your dealer wants to sell you for 50-75% less than what they want for it...

Wow, that is not a good indication of things to come in the future.  I would have already found another dealer and left the one you are dealing with.  I hope you haven't paid for your unit yet and you should really reconsider where you are at with the current dealer.
