    Tow Dolly Modifications

Yeah I was thinking about that. I might just get a hitch lift for the bike that can handle the weight and also allow be to attach a dolly to the back of that. It would still require modifying the hitch to handle the 1000lbs weight on the hitch.

    Tow Dolly Modifications

Anyone take a Tow Max Heavy Duty Car Tow Dolly or similar dolly and modify the front of the dolly to mount a motorcycle as well as being able to tow a car?? I am looking at trying to take my Street Glide and my car to Sturgis, SD next year and don't want to spend $3500 on a tow dolly when a...

Is about 500 miles doable in a day?

RV is easier to drive than an 80k lb truck which makes it easier for me to make those 600-700 mile drives.

Is about 500 miles doable in a day?

For myself, I can run 600-700 miles in a day. Of course I use to drive an 18 wheeler so this is about what I can do.

Cummins Onan RV QG 7000 garbage

I definitely understand the maintenance part.  From the looks of the generator the plugs, air filter, fuel filter and oil was changed before I purchased the RV.  Maybe when I tried to start it I held the button down too long. Hard to believe I would have done that since I am conservative with...

Roof top A/c not able to keep up.

You have a good point. There are several windows in the area in question but we have thrown out the awning and closed all the shades in the room.  Still gets pretty hot.  It has been over 100 degrees here so its stands to reason that it would not get better than 20 degrees from high which today...

Roof top A/c not able to keep up.

Probably what I need to do. How much weight can the roof support? Also, has anyone come up with another method of getting on the roof of the bus without using the rear ladder?

How many miles do the F53 Chassis brakes should last?

Thanks for the information. I will probably check the brakes out when I get back to FL from DC.  So far they work fine and I am hardly on them. I guess I can try a 4 foot cheater bar and see if they come loose.

Roof top A/c not able to keep up.

My Allegro rooftop A/C unit up towards the front is having a hard time keeping up in this hot weather.  Right now the thermostat is set to 78 but at the moment its 87. The rear A/C works like a champ and it gets cold back there.  Anyone have any suggestions as to what might be the issue?  I wish...

Cummins Onan RV QG 7000 garbage

So we traveled to Washington DC from Orlando, FL through Roanoke Island, NC and Williamsburg, VA. On our way the generator stopped working somewhere between Williamsburg and DC. While at the Cherry Hill Park campsite in MD I was able to take apart the generator while in the RV and found that...

How many miles do the F53 Chassis brakes should last?

I bought the 2010 Tiffin Allegro Open Road last year with 49k miles and wondering how long the brakes should last.  Assuming normal driving.  I actually use the engine transmission for most of my braking until I absolutely need to slow down more than the drag of the motor.  I have only done that...

    Home Theater system

Hello everyone, I have been messing around with the home theater system and looking to possible upgrade it. Not sure how this thing is wired so I am hesitant to even attempt but since I am replace all the TVs on this coach to more modern TVs I figure why not replace the Theater system as well. ...

    WiFiRanger SkyPro LTE

I went ahead and reordered the SkyPro pack without the LTE and give it another shot. What I plan on doing is getting a booster for my phone and use that as an LTE hotspot for the WiFiRanger. Hopefully that should handle both sources of internet for the WiFiRanger.
