Pulling a Trailer behind my Popup???

I like the atv in front of the pop-up, but he has a UTV, Rangers are big and heavy, not to mention long, some states allow tandem towing (Florida) not dangers if done right, but you can not backup (at least very far). UTV will not fit in a pickup either and would probably damage a popup roof and...

    Alison transmission Leak

Someone may have pointed this out but, the new radiator trany tube could be kinked or plugged internally, could be a cheap china radiator, plumbing backwards is almost impossible if lines are factory, and if reversed they will make a difference but a small one. Simple test, bypass radiator and...

    Upping fuel economy???

Slowing down will help but you will still say the mileage stinks. If you want to feel better about your mileage compare yourself to someone with worse mileage, my 36 DP gets 11.4 (without toad) at 55 mph, 9. @65, my boat gets 1.25 MPG @10 MPH and .21 MPG @ 17 MPH, now 8.5 MPG doesn't sound so...

    Upping fuel economy???

You are pushing a box down the road, the weight of the box has a effect on mileage but the aerodynamics of the box are the overwhelming factors in fuel burn, slow down and you get better fuel mileage and the difference can be dramatic . I will try to find and re post the link I had from Cat. on...

Oh No i flooded my trailer!

I do not know if other rigs are set up like mine but this is what I do. I dump the black tank and leave the valve open, I then open the gray tank valve and the gray water goes out the drain hose and into the black tank at the same time, after a short time I close the gray valve and the black...

    Smart light 1000

I just bought a smart light 1000 at a local car show swap meet, it was a dealer wall display. This is a motion detecting coach door light, has status led lights indicating system ready and coach low battery flashing red LED.  I have never seen one of these, anyone have any experience with these...

    Rv won't start

You can also check the voltage at the socket of the fuel pump relay,or simply jump out the socket of the relay and see if the pump runs, if it do, then buy a new relay. The relay starts the pump when the ignition is turned on to prime the fuel rail with out cranking, once started the oil...

    Rv won't start

you could look for the fuel pump relay, this is what starts the pump and shuts the pump off after a few seconds, typically the pump is kept on through a oil pressure switch on the engine. A auto parts store should have them and they are cheap plug in relays and are usually under the hood up high...

Alternator not charging on 2003 CAT 3126

Many of the big alternators have  magnets that get week over time and some come week from the Chinese factory, I am only familiar with the Lease Neville magnet situation. On many of these alternators there is a sense wire that goes to your tachometer for RPM pulse. In my MH I attached a wire...

Older Winnie backfiring and stalling. En route to Reno from SF bay. Help!

In order for a engine to "backfire" it has to burn gas when the intake valve is open, this can be caused by burnt valve ( but would backfire all the time, sticking valve or lifter (very rare), cross ignition caused by a bad distributor cap or leaking wires which can happen or be aggravated...

Can I just PAY someone else to move a Fifth Wheel?

YES, very easy to get someone to move your trailer, and after living in one place for a while you will probably know someone who will do it for gas and a beer.
