    Montana 3750FL

Gary, don't forget to same some of that budget for a TV for that Montana.  The 3750 is one of the heavier, so you're really talking dually territory to handle the weight safely.  We had the smaller 2 slide 2955RL, but upgraded to a Redwood.  We looked at the Front Living Room layouts and decided...

    Matching up Truck to RV

Gary, I'm sorry but I have to disagree with your statement.  We just purchased a higher end unit, a Redwood which is suppose to be a little abouve Montanas (moved up from a Montana)  Dry shipping weight was listed as 13700, actual unit left the factory at 14700 and that didn't include any...

    Another "am I overloading" question

You say the total on the TT is under 6K, do you know for sure (been over the scales) or are you just guessing??  Many, many times folks find out the real weight is alot more than they thought.  I would get to the scales and weigh everything in camping trim, then run the numbers and see where...

    Tires for Tow Vehicle

I like the GY Wrangler Silent Armor tires.  Not the cheapest but I like their aggresive tread design, good for getting out of that grassy camp site after a night of rain.  Got 35K on a set now and still plenty of tread.  A bonus, there are good on ice too.

If I was going to buy a 1/2 ton truck for a 20something ft. bumper pull...

It looks to me like you need to sit down, take a deep breath and decide exactly what you want to do.  As mentioned 20 something can turn into 30 something very easy.  And not to ruffle any feathers, but I would bet that many of the replies that say "Tows fine" are probably pushing the limits. ...

    Will this rig be OK?

Here's my thoughts, yes it will pull, may be a little slow on the steeper grades.  Will it be enjoyable, very questionable.  The reason I say that is because we used to pull a 91' 24' Prowler approx 5K fully loaded with a Chevy Heavy 1/2 with full towing package and the 5.7 (350) and 3.73 gears...
