I've got a question for the OP... Where you a full timer or recreational RV'er? I can see a full timer running into this issue where fridge is running all the time and the moisture against the tubing will eventually rust through. Now a Recreational RV like my self might fire up the fridge 10-20...

I've got a local scale that is segmented (3 panels) for truckers and works awesome. Rare to find but really helps in getting the whole job done in one shot.

I've seen a few break in the middle between the eyes on the end and the alignment bolt in the center. I would also consider putting that in the scale and finding out how heavy it is. If its just wore out then you might be fine but if the base spring broke I wonder if you just over weight?

Might also be getting close to requiring a CDL license in some states too.

I would scale you current vehicle and find out how much axle weight you got then you can calculate what you can pull. My truck is stated for 13,250 pounds of trailer or 20,000 gross combined weight... I'll never make it. I'm only 160 pounds from my GVWR of the truck. This why I say scale you...

Compressed air method is really easy and doesn't need any modifications. All RV's have a city water connection. Just hook up your air hose to the city water line and blow the lines out. Personally I would of stop the destruction of the RV one way or another. Dog kennels, sold the dogs, etc. I'd never let a animal destroy my vehicles or RV.  If your purchased the RV your are responsible to pay for the loan now regardless of the damages. No different if I bought a brand new truck...

Even in a RV park I would highly suggest starting the tank out with at least 5 gallons of water. This will help with odors and keeping the tank liquid. I also suggest you keep the gray tank closed too. This is handy for flushing your hose out and reducing the smell outside. During cold winter...
