    Project update: Floating Deck addition

That's next on the agenda. I've got a whole pallet of half brick pavers that I'm going to do something with. Gonna try to work some steps in there somewhere.

    Project update: Floating Deck addition

Those are retaining wall caps from one of my projects from home. 18x12x4  But they're concrete, so they weigh about 50lbs each.  The front had too much sway (imo at least) with the arms extended all the way down. Some people suggested cinder blocks, but I had a few extra of these cap blocks...

    Project update: Floating Deck addition

We think we're parked at this spot for the next year to 3. So decided to put together a floating deck to cover the main entrance. Actually a couple weeks of planning and was able to throw it together in less then a day. All 12 ft pieces, so no cuts. I did use joist hangers which is completely...

    Pet Health Insurance

Adding my $.02 to an old post. We have insurance for our pets and consider it as 'major medical' and not so much for the yearly maintenance items.  Our last pup had to have surgery on her front paws and eventually amputated. Our cost was over $6k. But she lived 8 more years after that, and was...

    Nimble temperature monitoring device-beware!

I too have spent all morning reading post and reviews and it just doesn't seem like anything out there works..... Our campground has wifi, but it's password protected. So not sure if these wifi temp sensors will connect or not. I hate the idea of having to buy a verizon or straight talk hotspot...

    New to board and RV'ing

Hello all. My wife and I just purchased a 'used' 2018 Coachmen Chaparral 5th wheel.  Basically permanently parked as we're working in between two cities and don't want to sell our home.  I've already built a floating deck outside and got a pallet of pavers to start a patio area (to help cover up...
