drcurran...got it. It's called the Stromberg Carlson (cc275) Bike Bunk for cargo tray. On sale now for less that $200.00 on Amazon. Much cheaper that having that bumper welded back on.

The best idea that I've seen is a hitch mount bike carrier, mounted on the frame in front of the camper, and behind your propane tanks. I've seen that amazon carries it. I'll look it up and post the name for you. Bike racks mounted on a rear bumper are never a good idea as far as I'm concerned...

Thanks guys....I'll do these searches and see if I can find a solution. Unfortunately, with the new "ultra lite" campers I think that the cable slide is here to stay. 

Own a 2015 Passport Ultra lite. It has your typical dinette slide out. It's cable driven, no tracks to speak of, no gears, just cables. It has begun to jerk and jump a little as it comes in or out. The dealer of course wants $250.00 to check and adjust. I'm not a big fan of the dealers service...

I have a 2015 Passport with a dinette slide. The last two times that I used it, it seems to jerk, or kind of jump a bit when moving in or out. This is a cable system and not a track. Could lubrication be the issue ? I have cleaned and lubed to cables, no help there. Any ideas ???
